I purchased the Ultra Dry Snorkel and intended to use the Snorkel Keeper to attache it to my face mask. It was not needed. The comfort of the purchased snorkel was great and the "keeper" will be my backup. The material is super soft and strong and will be great if needed in the future. A must for the prepared diver.

THESE THINGS ARE THE GREATEST. MY WIFE LOST A 35 DOLLAR SNORKEL IN COSUMEL LAST MONTH WITH A SLIDING HARD KEEPER THAT CAME WITH IT. IT ALSO HURT HER EAR. WITH THE SILICONE KEEPER, YOU CANT LOST THE SNORKEL LONG AS YOUR MASK STRAP IS SECURE. ALSO IT WILL STRETCH OVER THE WATER RESISTANT KIND THAT WE HAVE. AND IT IS INEXPENSIVE. I BOUGHT A COUPLE OF EXTRAS. A VERY GOOD PRODUCT. NICK G.

The hard plastic snorkel keepers that come with my expensive snorkel broke. This inexpensive, flexible snorkel keeper put it back in commission. I got an extra for my save-a-dive kit. Its light weight and very compact, so it wont add to extra baggage charges. I discovered another advantage to this once I got it: since you can slide it anywhere on your snorkel (not just within a short channel), you may find that you can place it in a position that works better than the original.

Got two of those. One to replace the keeper that broke and one as a reserve just in case. It works great

Ive used a neoprene for years & like the silicon MUCH better, stays in place better & easier to dry after dives.

My girlfriend purchased one of these from our local dive shop after a passer-by stepped on her snorkel, causing the plastic snorkel clip to snap. Of course, there are no worries of rubber snorkel keepers snapping, but the tendency of sticking while sliding the snorkel through the tight openings makes it somewhat difficult for slight adjustments and quick separations. On the other hand, I entirely trust the silicone snorkel keeper to last for years. While I did purchase this one for my save-a-dive kit, my girlfriend purchased hers for under a dollar. There is no visual difference in quality.

just your basic snorkel keeper, sticky like a good silicon mask strap.
Questions and Answers for H2O Snorkel Keeper Silicone:
James:
I have an Aqualung Impulse II snorkel that has performed flawlessly until the clip broke off the tube. I tried one of these silicone Snorkel keepers and have had nothing but trouble. It does not seem to hold tube firmly in place and more than one I have go a mouthful of salt water.
Is it possible to buy new clips for the Impulse II snorkel or do I have to buy a new one? The silcone snorkel keeper is not the answer,
