Rating: Awesome Product!
Reviewer: Francesco Leising
I have been diving for 10 years and I am also a PADI Instructor and these hoses are the best especially for travel. This is a great product bc you can bend them and safely place them in your back in small areas and if you have one set up on your regulator it does not push on your mouth. Defenantly a great buy cant go wrong!

Rating: Best visibility hose ever!!!!
Reviewer: robert w.
Overall Im very happy with this product. Much brighter than the dull yellow octo hoses everyone else has!! Also the braided techology seems to hold up very well! Great product!!! Highly Highly RECOMMENDED!!! The only complaint I have is that all the other Miflex hoses Ive seen for sale come with a water resistant bag that can be re-used. This one unfortunatly didnt :( Small thing that would of been nice to have! Thanks for a great product!!!

Got this hose for my octo do to some wreck diving and penetration emergency drills. Excellent. Bright color was easy to see in limited visibility, and the flexability was great for doing a nice S-coil behind my BCD to keep it out of the way.

its a little shorter than I thought but the quality is good. the installation part linked to the 2nd stage is slight different from the original scuba pro ones. should be fine.

Outstanding quality. I needed a hose flexible enough not to get in the way of my movement.

These are great hoses, have used Miflex for years, no issues. They are much better than the standard rubber hoses.

Rating: I Love MIFLEX
Reviewer: Timothy Locklear
Love these hoses. Basically eliminated the jaw fatigue caused by my old rubber hoses. Very durable, flexible, and attractive. No problems so far. I recommend MIFLEX to anyone looking to lighten their kit or make their reg set more comfortable. A++

build quality is quite good. Its light weight and very flexible. Once you switch to flexi hoses its hard to feel comfortable when u switch back to regular hoses.

Rating: Great Product for under arm regulator hose!!!!!
Reviewer: Ryan Rexroad  -  View all my reviews
This is a great hose much better then a standard rubber hose. I purchase the 48" hose so, I could run the hose under my right arm to prevent my hose getting hung up on kelp, weeds, rocks etc.. The most important part of this product is that if you tie it in a knot it will still work and I can vouch for that. I was diving and the hose kinked at my swivel just off my 1st stage and I didnt notice it until I got out of the water and my dive buddy saw it. There was no reduction in air flow.

Questions and Answers for XS Scuba MIFLEX Braided Regulator Hose:

  • James:

I am new to diving and starting to buy my own equipment. Im thinking of buying a wrist comp with remote pressure transmitter. Is this a good choice and do I build a reg from parts or buy one as a kit? I am currently diving reefs and spear fishing but intend to do some wreck diving. I was told a din valve would be better.

Bill  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Air integrated hoseless wrist computers are very popular and typically will include all the features a recreational diver might need. As for the rest of your gear you should call one of our instructors at 800-347-2822 for some help putting together a package.

  • Jeffrey:

currently i am using mk25/A700 i am planning to change the hose, is there any guide on how to change? it looks like i would need to have a special tools to remove the hose from the 2nd stage.

Bill  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

The scubapro does use a special wrench to remove the hose. The miflex uses a standard adjustable wrench.

  • Jon:

I just checked out the MIFLEX hoses on the XS Scuba website and noticed theyre now MIFLEX 2. Are the MIFLEX hoses on Scuba.com MIFLEX 2 or the original MIFLEX? Thx!

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

The originals are no longer available. They are the most current hoses XS Scuba is offering (in this case the 2nd generation)

  • JT:

I have an atomic T2 x regulator and am interested in converting from the atomic rubber hose to the Miflex braided hose. I have looked at the regulator swivel connection to the rubber hose and it is crimped, is there a way to convert to the miflex?

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello JT, you would need to go with a whole new set-up. If you want a miflex hose. Removal of the swivel with destroy the hose and the swivel you have currently would be worthless.

  • Brittany:

I want to change out the stiff hose that came on my Genesis GS2000 Regulator. Would this hose fit as a replacement? I also have a Omni Swivel to attach to the second stage. Is this compatible?

Arthur  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello, yes this would work with your reg and the swivel.

  • Russell:

I would like to upgrade the hoses on my Oceanic Delta 3 regulator and first stage. I am able to turn the regulator 360 degrees at the connection between the hose and regulator to adjust position of the regulator to the mouth. I would assume that Miflex Braided Regulator Hose has this feature but can not confirm from the specs. I must assume that the current hose boots would not work with the Miflex hoses - Are hose boots suggested for these hoses if so do the come with the hose or is this a separate purchase. Thanks in advance for your help.

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Russell, the swivel that is currently on that hose will not transfer over to the Miflex hose. You would need to get and after market swivel to replace that swivel.

  • Fred:

Are adapters require to use this with scubapro regulators?

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Fred, this is a universal size so yes this would work for the Scuba Pro regulator.

  • Felipe:

Is it possible to get a 5ft (60inch) low pressure miflex hose on neon/yellow?

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

At this time no. The only sizes available are the ones listed on the product description.

  • JIM:

I am currently using my old reg. I plan on upgrading to an Atomic T3. I know the Atomic ss1 (which I own) uses a type 3. My question is, if I buy this hose to use with my old reg for the time being, will it be transferable to the T3? Thanks, Jim

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Jim, yes you would be able to transfer this hose over to the new system when you get it.

  • Charles:

The regulator end is 9/16" x 18 tpi standard, correct?

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

That is a technical question more suitable for the tech department at the manufacturers. We can only state that they are a standardized size.
