The yoke portion of the adapter screws into a round machined metal piece into which the DIN regulator screw from the other end. The machined piece is attached to the yoke portion with some sort of brownish glue. I know this because the yoke portion twisted off rather easily leaving me with the machined piece on my DIN threads. The machined piece was only finally removed when I used a monkey wrench on the piece (fist I double wrapped it with an old silicone mask strap). No harm no foul. Just be aware. I was stuck with the piece on my XTX200 for an entire dive trip without the ability to reinstall the dust cap (DIN screw-on cap). Final thought, take a yoke dust cap and all is good.

This is a good solid adapter, very functional. The only criticism I have is that the threads are not finished as well as other adapters Ive seen, being that there were some sharp edges on them. I purchased this item so that I was able to go diving down in the Keys. There are several models that are more expensive but this one served its purpose well. Very easy to attach.

works on my Aqualung Din reg, a little longer clearance though, i use it w. the tank valve facing back. Otherwise it makes the tank change much easier between din and yoke.
