I am new to diving and starting to buy my own equipment. Im thinking of buying a wrist comp with remote pressure transmitter. Is this a good choice and do I build a reg from parts or buy one as a kit? I am currently diving reefs and spear fishing but intend to do some wreck diving. I was told a din valve would be better.
Air integrated hoseless wrist computers are very popular and typically will include all the features a recreational diver might need. As for the rest of your gear you should call one of our instructors at 800-347-2822 for some help putting together a package.
currently i am using mk25/A700 i am planning to change the hose, is there any guide on how to change? it looks like i would need to have a special tools to remove the hose from the 2nd stage.
I just checked out the MIFLEX hoses on the XS Scuba website and noticed theyre now MIFLEX 2. Are the MIFLEX hoses on Scuba.com MIFLEX 2 or the original MIFLEX? Thx!
do you sell any tools to open up my reg?
We carry tool kits for basic maintenance, hose removal and replace: http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-247/230023/Scubamax-Professional-Tool-Kit.html
I have an atomic T2 x regulator and am interested in converting from the atomic rubber hose to the Miflex braided hose. I have looked at the regulator swivel connection to the rubber hose and it is crimped, is there a way to convert to the miflex?
Is this a high pressure hose at 6 inch? I want to add the HD net ready transmitter to it.
This is not a high pressure hose. This is the HP hose: http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-37/034497/H2O-Rhino-Double-Braided-High-Pressure-Scuba-Gauge-Hose.html As long as the item you are adding has the same fittings as a pressure gauge this is the one you need.
I would like to upgrade the hoses on my Oceanic Delta 3 regulator and first stage. I am able to turn the regulator 360 degrees at the connection between the hose and regulator to adjust position of the regulator to the mouth. I would assume that Miflex Braided Regulator Hose has this feature but can not confirm from the specs. I must assume that the current hose boots would not work with the Miflex hoses - Are hose boots suggested for these hoses if so do the come with the hose or is this a separate purchase. Thanks in advance for your help.
I am currently using my old reg. I plan on upgrading to an Atomic T3. I know the Atomic ss1 (which I own) uses a type 3. My question is, if I buy this hose to use with my old reg for the time being, will it be transferable to the T3? Thanks, Jim
