It is grease, and beware of getting in on you because it will get EVERY where. While I realize it may be for rings and gear, I have found that it works really well on my mustache to ensure a good seal on my mask. Otherwise, good product, stores easily and does what it is suppose to do.

Have used the grease on my camera to ensure a better seal. In addition, it worked on the mooring cover snaps that are a bit too tight, now the snaps are lubricated. This seems to work better than petroleum jelly and cleaner. Very happy with this grease.

Works as expected. I like that this is in a screw-top jar. MUCH nicer than the tear-and-use tubes, or the pop top jars (which can come open during travel, and make a mess)
