Hi, Is this the DIN version? Thanks,
Hello Axel, no this is the yoke version. If you are looking for the Din version go here: http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-180/033497/Atomic-T3-Titanium-DIN-Regulator.html
When buying an Atomic T3 regulator there seems to be two options: black and black with Octo. What are the differences if any?
Is there a clear advantage to buying titanium parts, sealed first stage? Im buying for my daughter (She is 16 yrs old and would like to go into marine biology. Already certified) so I want to know it will be highly reliable. Also looking for anyones personal experience on: do you buy a regulator for life or do you upgrade throughout your diving? Thank you for your responses.
Hello John, a sealed first stage will help keep the water from going inside the first stage to prevent freezing if you are diving in water with ice. As for upgrading the regulator over time the manufactures will change there lines and when new tech comes out they will go with that so if you have a regulator that is 20 years old will be hard to find part for service on that.
Is this the standard yoke in the U.S. Or is it a DIN version like the UK sells?
Hello Koby, this is the yoke style version. If you are looking for this in a din you will find it at: http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-180/033497/Atomic-T3-Titanium-DIN-Regulator.html.
