This regulator breathes easy and being the ‘wet’ type, helps with dry mouth. I really like the compact size and the exhaust system. I spend a lot of time at odd angles looking under rocks for critters, the exhaust never blocks my vision. I rented for a year, before buying my own gear and the Oasis has delivered everything I was looking for.

This is a very lite unit and breathes easy. No stress on the jaws or lungs. Very comfortable and allows you a choice with an extra supplied diverter piece that will blow your bubbles behind your cheeks instead of up the front of your face.

This regulator is awesome. The mouthpiece looks large, but when you are using it, it is so comfortable. I bought a smaller mouthpiece thinking I would need it, and now cant imagine not using the sherwood mouthpiece. Very easy to breathe. Helped the dry mouth a little bit, but still had dryness while diving. Very pleased with purchase.

Significantly reduces dry mouth and the associated gagging. Mouthpiece is large and takes some getting used to, but is very comfortable and allowed my to do multiple dives without jaw pain. Easy breather down to 145 ft. Purge button is very stiff.

I wanted a regulator fit for my needs, and the Sherwood Oasis measured up. Smooth breathing from the surface down to 100+ feet, without any additional knobs to be concerned about to control flow rate or resistance. The first stage is a classic, well built with ample ports for extras. The second stage was light weight and felt super comfortable in my mouth. Given the attractive pricing, I felt my needs were met, and then some. Also kudos to Scuba.com for their service and advice.

If you want to dive with out getting "dry mouth", then you need to try the Oasis. This is my first purchased reg., and it is a great product.
