I read many reviews before purchasing and installing this inflator for my wife. Many people experienced freeflow, but after two 80ft dives with no freeflow, I cant say the same. I breathed off of it underwater and it breathes very easy at depth. My only issue is that the hose could be a little longer, and that the lower assembly could be a little flatter, like my Aeris/inflator. These arent issues for my wife however, who is completely satisfied, and happy to be more streamlined. Great product!

Fortunately, I have not had the opportunity to REALLY use the Gemini under emergency conditions, however while testing the product now 6 to 7 times times it performs perfectly. I would like to get a bit longer inflator hose for my BCD so I can have more range of motion while using the Gemini.

Rating: Its a hit
Reviewer: John Leach,
I installed the Octo/Inflator 2 days before a dive trip to Panama City, and my buddy used it on our first dive when his second stage failed. It worked great, and really unclutters my BC. Its a great product, with large, easy to identify buttons, and is the best made combo Ive seen.

I have heard good things on this item through two dive shops. I used it diving in Belize in Feb. and was extremely satisified. I would recommend the Gemini.

Top quality. A must have. It cut down on the amount of hoses i need to have. Works very nice. It breathes as nice as my main regulator.

Questions and Answers for Sherwood Gemini Breathable Inflator:
Orhan:
Dear Sir/Madam,
will this inflator (Sherwood Gemini)fit to the corrugated hose of Cressi Aquapro 5 BCD?
Thank you for your answer.
Darrick (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Hello Orhan, this would not work for your BCD. The hose that your unit attached to is a 3/4" hose. This unit takes a 1" hose. If you have any other questions or would like to place an order please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.
Joseph:
Would it fit the Zeagle Ranger?
Bob (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Yes it will. It will fit most of the bcd's on the market using a standard 7/8" corrugated hose.
Roy:
Would this fit on my Halcyon eclipse BC?
Bob (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
The Sherwood Gemini will fit on any "standard" 7/8" corrugated inflation hose.
Andrew:
Will this work with a dive rite voyager wing?
Bob (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Dive Rite uses a standard sized corrugated hose, so the Sherwood Gemini should work perfectl.
David:
Aloha, I have the Oceanic Islander. Will this inflator work with my BC and if not can you recommend one that will?
Bob (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
This will not work with the Oceanic bcds. You'd need to use either the Oceanic Air XS II or the Aeris Air Link due to the smaller corrugated hose size on your bcd.
