Purchased the Venom Ultra Clear Scuba Dive Mask Black on Black - Limited Edition to support my underwater video and photography...very pleasantly surprised to find the truly amazing clarity that this mask brings to each dive...the ability to observe the detail improves my imaging....great investment and purchase for me...this mask provides even better underwater vision than my previous Atomics ARC mask...

Rating: BEST MASK FOR SPOTTING CRITTERS

Just returned from a dive trip in Indonesia where there is macro diving. This clarity of the glass on this mask was excellent for spotting the tiny creatures. I did have a bit of trouble with leaking, but learned how to position on my face to make it work. Just bought this for my boyfriend. He was concerned about the small flange (sp?) on the upper lip. So he returned his. My dive buddy had this mask before I did and she always spotted things alot better than me.

Very nice looking, field of view is probably better than with other masks, but I havent noticed a huge difference. The mask fits well, but that all depends on facial structure, I suppose.
I do get comments such as "cool mask", or "I want that mask", but that may really only have to do with the marketing and pricing of the mask iself.
Nonetheless, I am quite happy with the Venom.

i must admit, i was a little hesitant to spend so much money on a mask however, it was worth every penny! finally a mask that fits like a glove. it’s extremely comfortable, i have no leak issues and the clarity is phenomenal!

The mask improves visibility significantly. It also works well with the placement of corrective lens (for me, one-third way up the side of the nose bridge). With improved visibility, the mask seems less confining. Im very pleased with the design and fit.

I bought this new mask for a trip to the Hawaiian Islands that I planned to do a lot of snorkeling. I found this to be my most comfortable mask yet and clear and bright. I did a night Manta Ray Snorkel and could see everything, I almost forgot I had a mask on and was floating on the ocean!

This mask is great! There are mask that have good clear glass then there is this one its like having nothing infront. Clearing is very easy. I like the split strap make it feel more secure. Plus it looks awesome.

Love this mask. The rubber around the mask is so flexible and easy to fit to your face. Fits beautifully and easy to clear your nose with its access to the nose piece. Best thing is the viz with this mask. Have never spotted creatures as well as with this mask! Plus, I like the smaller packing case.

I have read that some of the Venom masks have problems with the skirt separating from the lens resulting in leakage. The Venoms with any date time stamp molded into the nose pocket are the ones which have had the issue corrected. Do the masks sold by scuba.com have this date time stamp?

The Atomic Venom Ultra Clear mask does not come with a purge valve. It does fit large faces really well.

This is an excellent mask. Fogging does not have to do with which mask you pick, it is prevented by properly cleaning and using a good defog solution.
