in this months sports diver they advertise this as a mask for small female faces which I am...however in this write-up they specify medium to large face...which is correct and do you have have any other recommendations for small female faces.... larger masks leak for me.

This mask has an average sized skirt and fits most all average adult faces, hence the medium to larger face rating. Since there is really no set sizing pattern for a mask as there are with other items we wear the best rule of thumb will always be the trial and error method of placing the mask to your face with the strap not on your head but around the front of the mask. Inhale through your nose to create suction and hold your breath. If it sticks to your face for a few seconds, it fits! Since every face has different features and is differently shaped what fits one individual won't necessarily fit another even if their body dimensions are the same. That all being said, the XS Scuba Fusion 2 Jr. mask is a great choice for anybody with a smaller face. Jr. does not indicate a child's mask but indicates it is a smaller version of their very successful Fusion 2 Window mask.
