Rating: Nice goggles
Reviewer: George K.,
I dive with a third lung to perform swimming pool repairs. This is my first "good" pair of goggles - not from Wal-mart. Ive used them several times now and I am satisfied. Great visibility and quality construction at a reasonable price.

Rating: Nice vision.

just bought two of these for snorkeling in the caribbean. my wife & i both liked the masks very much. good quality siliconewe both had a fine seal with no irritation after hours in the water. the extra pane of vision is very nice. you still need to adjust your eyes or tilt of your head due to the refraction between the front and side views, but it really opens things up. it certainly removes the tunnel vision feel ive gotten with other masks. i had a cover to go around the back of my wifes strap, so no hair problems noted. and i clipped on a video camera to the side of mine & it held solid the whole time. like them alot!

Rating: Great Mask!
Reviewer: Michael D Fischer,
The Fusion mask was purchased to replace a silicone mask used since the mid-70s after it no longer made a perfect seal. It was given a burial somewhere in the Caribbean. I was concerned that there was a modern day mask which met the quality, comfort and durability of my previous mask. The Fusion mask exceeded my expectations. Based on materials used, I suspect the durability will be at least as good as my prior mask.

Rating: Comfortable well fitting mask

Purchased for my wife on our recent dive trip to Cozumel. Mask fit very good and comfortable, and water seepage was minimal. She did order the optional nose purge, but said if given the chance to do it again, would not do it.

Rating: Great Fit, Easy to Use
Reviewer: Anny W.,
I tried on another XS Scuba model mask at a store, so felt comfortable ordering this one online. Very happy with this mask: fitted very well and visibility is excellent. We dived 5 days - no problem with seal or fit. I am glad I bought the padded strap also, avoided hair tangling.

Rating: Amazing Mask!
Reviewer: Bill M.,
i was a little leary of ordering a mask without trying it out for fit. after over 5 hours of scuba and countless more hours snorkeling, i can say i love it - no more tunnel vision or claustrophobic views of a conventional mask. the side windows gives you a great panoramic view without sacrificing style it does not look like an aquarium on your face. the pane seams do split your peripheral view abit but hardly a negative effect. my mask did not have the purge valve. in my opinion, the purge valve is less effective than conventional mask clearing and as another reviewer has noted, may hinder your equalizing. the mask is comfortable, fits great and does not leak at all. if youve never tried a 3-window mask before, treat yourself. great price. six out of five!

Rating: Good for the price but something not quite right
Reviewer: Miriam Z., - View all my reviews
I love being able to see to the sides without turning my head although there is quite a bit of distortion at the corners. Something I should be able to get used to.
PROBLEM - I have made 19 dives in this mask and each and every time, it leaks through the top seal. Just a little and usually more at the beginning of each dive. I make sure there is no hair in the seal but it still happens. Its irritating. I read another post about leaking so perhaps this is a design flaw. The one good thing about the leaking is that I am now used to getting salt water in my eyes and no longer need to close my eyes in the ocean. However, I am not happy that I have to put up with the leaking.

Rating: Good peripheral visibility
Reviewer: Paul Falten, - View all my reviews
Considering the size and shape of this mask it is still a low drag mask. The visibility to either side is very good. My only small complaint is the skirt. It isnt as comfortable as the newer high tech silicone skirts. I do not regret getting this mask at all since I prefer peripheral vision to slight discomfort.
Do they make replacement straps for these masks? If they do make replacements, how much are they and how do I go about ordering one. Thanks.

I am 195 pounds, large nose, would that mask fit me well?

Yes
Tom:
Is this a good mask for someone with a mustache.
Bill (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Good choice and I would add the purge valve option, so in case there is a little leakage it will be easy to keep the mask clear.
judy:
Is this mask a low volume mask?
Bill (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
This mask will have a larger volume than a 2 window or frameless style mask, but is still very easy to clear. It also comes with an optional purge valve which make even easier to clear.
CJ:
going to bora bora...never really snorkeled before. how to you clear your mask if you dont have the purge option. and how does the purge option work?
Darrick (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Hello CJ, if you get a good fitting mask you should not need to clear your mask. But if you do get water in your mask? With a purge mask all you have to do is look down and exhale threw your nose and that will clear the water out of your mask. With a non-purge mask you will need to bring your head out of the water and lift the bottom skirt of the mask to drain the water. If you have any other questions or would like to place an order please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.
Brano:
What snorkel does this come with?
Bill (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
You can add the Ocean Quest Pacific Totally Dry Snorkel as an option or select just the mask.
