Hello Donald, this mask is no longer listed on our mask with optical lens. At the time when Clarke responded to your request. It was listed now that the new equipment is coming out for next year the new version of this mask could have been changed in design and no longer take the lens. You would need to contact the manufacture directly to find out if it take optical lens. The phone number to the manufacture is (800) 347-9766.
The M 01 series of corrective lenses APPEAR to fit the TUSA MC 5100 and the Genesis SL, as well as one of the body glove models. Is the correct?????
I have been an avid snorkler for 40 years. Last year I purchased a Genesis SL mask with corrective lenses. The mask lenses constantly fogged in spite of old tricks (spit) and newer tricks (fog liqiud). I was disappointed and miserable for 14 days of snorkeling. We are leaving soon on another snokeling adventure, and I need help so as to avoid another ruined trip. I have physical disabilities, and I only feel totally well when floating and looking at the fabulous world under the sea. Please help! Thank you.
First and most important, every new mask should be washed inside and out with a normal, non-grit toothpaste. This will clean the residue left from the material used on the lenses from the grinding process. If this residue is not cleaned off, the mask will fog constantly. After that, a normal defog of choice should do the trick.
