Rating: VERY ENLIGHTENING

This light is great for the brightness of the beam and the lenght of battery life. It fits your hand well and is easy to turn on and off. If it continues to perform as it has so far, I would give it a 5 star rating.

Rating: Over all good light
Reviewer: Darren L., Saturday, April 14, 2012
This is one of the brightest lights I have ever used. I am a commercial diver so I use this light on a daily basis. So far it has stood up to every day abuse. The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is the battery life. I can only get an 8 hour day out of it in cold water, but for most people that should be more than long enough for their needs

Rating: Bright Little Light

Just purchased this light and used it on a 65 dive in water with less than 5 of visibility. It worked great! Very bright, focused beam made it easy to read my gauges. Very sturdy and the button that locks the switch off will ensure that it doesnt go on in my gear bag. Because of the LED format, it does not get hot. A great choice for a dive light!

Rating: Princeton Torrent 3 LED UW light

Great light, good levels of illumination. On-Off switch has a locking feature that could be a bit more positive (bumped light on in BCD pocket and didnt find out for a while) but this light didnt depleate the batteries as a conventional light would so it worked out well. I really like the feature of sealing the case and then NOT twisting the lens (Leakage point in past dive lights) to turn it off or on.

Rating: Great light
Reviewer: Sean McSharry, Friday, July 02, 2010
Took this with me on 10 dives including one night dive. It puts out a lot of light in a very small package. Nice strong white light. I think this could be used as a primary light and was very handy to have on my BC for looking in caves and nooks during the day.

Rating: Bright idea this flashlight!
Reviewer: Kevin Katchmar, Monday, July 05, 2010 - View all my reviews
Long lasting and real bright. This light is in between a spot and a flood so it illuminates a nice wide path. Its a little bulky for a pocket flashlight but the extra batteries give peace of mind when youre in a dark spot for a long time.

Rating: Great Light (but check it first!)
Reviewer: Nancy G., Friday, May 14, 2010 - View all my reviews
our first light failed about three minutes into its first use on a night snorkel fortunately, we had the little suprema mini that came with it as backup. i had applied a light layer of silicone "grease" to the threads and o-ring as described in the manual before use. three attempts to "rehabilitate" the light as described in the manual failed, but it was promptly and cheerfully replaced by scuba.com. when the light worked it was great (bright light, easy to handle) and another couple on our trip had the same light and had no trouble with it. i guess the moral is to check your light before you go!

Rating: Princeton Tec Torrent 3Watt L.E.D. Light
Reviewer: don r., Sunday, March 28, 2010
I had bought the Tec Torrent 3 Watt L.E.D. Light That i love because its bright and small enough to put into your BCD pocket. The other brand that i had from a diffent shop did me no good at night dive. It was not bright and to big to handle. This one was great and easy to handle.
Thank You
DON Roy

Rating: Good deal for a good light.

I purchased this light as a replacement for one I broke that belonged to my girlfriend. That is why a man bought a pink flashlight. I needed a dive light to complete the night and deep dives for Master Diver certification. I neede also to replace her pink light, so I bought her a pink light for me to use. It worked great for the training dives. The compact size and brightness worked well for the murky waters we dove in. The fact that it came with a little bitty back-up dive light for free was nice too. For the occasional night diver, I see nothing wrong with this light. If night diving in murky water was how I dove most of my dives, however, I would purchase a bigger unit and use this as the backup.

I actually bought this light as a Christmas Gift for my nephew but I do have one myself. It works great and is very dependable. I used it on a 50night dive during a trip to Bonaire. My lights worked great while my brothers blew up at about 25 feet - and he paid twice as much as I did!
