Rating: This is a great buy

I have bought a number of, so called, signal lights but this one is by far the best. It is bright and flashes on and off via a bright LED light. My wife and I use them to ID each other when diving in a group. A must have for your bag. It really does work.

Rating: not bad for price
Reviewer: anthony b.,
bought 3 for my family and I. Price was good, and it could be seen underwater, but I thought it would be more bright. For the price and the security of not losing your buddy in the dark, it is a good buy

Rating: Works great for night dives
Reviewer: Willis Chung, - View all my reviews
The flashing orange indicator was very visible at night. The plastic clip that comes with the blinker feels pretty flimsy, but worked well to hook the blinker to the rubber dust cap of our regulator set, at the connection with the air cylinder. This placed the blinker up high enough to be clearly visible.
Battery life was excellent: we did 6 night/evening dives in the past two weeks and did not see any significant decrease in the blink rate to lead us to replace the batteries.

Rating: Blinking Light Sticks

This LED Light Sticks were placed on all students while diving in St. Lucia. The orange can definitely be seen and the lights worked wonderfully. There does need to be a way developed to attach the sticks to the tank rather than the bcd so that students can be seen while moving horizonally.

Rating: Largely useless for buddy identification.
Reviewer: David Lee, - View all my reviews
This product does work exactly as advertised, but I found it useless for my needs. I wanted to use it to better identify my buddy underwater. I attached them first on a D Ring on the BC, then to the tank (at the octo). For 99% of the time I could not see them on my buddy. At shallow depths they were not bright enough to be visible. At deeper depths I could see it if it was unobstructed but was unable to find a way to attach it so it wasnt obscured. The only thing I could think of is a attached to the back of the tank but there was no easy way to do this.
However they were clearly visible at deeper depths but only as long as you had a direct line of sight.

I purchased two of these light sticks, one worked great and shuts off when you unscrew the cap some, but the other remains on once the batteries are in place. Ill be asking for a replacement. They are visible and it seems they would last for several dives.

Rating: light stick stands out
Reviewer: Tony Jennings, - View all my reviews
used the orange flashing and white "continous on" stiks on a night dive with 2 buddies. Visibility of course was "0". My buddies remarked that the flashing orange was easy to see and kept the group together. Upon ascent, the orange flash was spotted by on lookers from shore. The white is OK but the orange flash really stands out

Rating: L.E.D. Kayak Light
Reviewer: Paul Nadeau,
This product is being used for a kayaking light. As a general safety feature it clips on my PFD. For general night use I have made a mast for my kayak and fitted this light into the top of the mast. This is a fantastic instrument for night kayakain at a fraction of the cost of products made for this use.

Rating: Flash on, Flash off
Reviewer: Brad Hinton,
As far as underwater indicators go, this flashing LED tank light is about the most cost effective way to go. Inexpensive, but powerful and durable, this light will do the trick for those night divers who want to be seen. The orange/red one is surprisingly visible at 45ft. I thought the green or the white would be more visible, but the orange/red one is highly visible. This light is worth the money!
