This is a good item to use as a tank marker but not that great as a exit bouy marker. The light gets very dim as the batteries get low and the battery replacement cost is high in comparison to the original item price.

This was a pretty decent tank light and it served me well on night dives off of Catalina Island. Wish the light were a bit brighter though.
