Rating: Excellent, all-around divers tool

I got a chance to try out my new UK Blue Tang blade last weekend during a dive trip to Key Largo. The sheaths adjustable straps held the blade securely to my leg and removing the knife from its sheath underwater, even wearing gloves, was a breeze. Great tool and fantastic price!

Rating: A High Quality Knife...

A high-quality dive knife can also serve as a tool–stepping in as a light pry bar, a screwdriver, a hammer, and even an equipment modifier, if needed. In short, every diver should have a dive knife and the Blue Tang from Underwater Kinetics is one of my top choices. I have big calves, but im not very fat. The depth compensating leg straps that come with it, is a bit short. When i mount it onto my calf, i have to adjust it to the max. Shorter by 1 more inch, the strap will not be able to fit me. so, i wonder will it fit those really big size diver out there...

Rating: Great dive knife

This is a great knife. Easy to remove from the sheath and handle with gloves on. Easy to take apart for rinsing and drying. A little rust on the tang beneath the handle easy to remove, no big deal. Keeps an edge well.

I am glad I bought this knife. The sheath fits comfortably on my leg, and the hydralloy finish has not show any signs of corrosion.

For the price this is a great knife, easy to take apart and clean, holds an edge, and best of all, if you loose it your not out much cash.

I believe the construction of the knife is very good and the steel blade has terrific features - the blunt tip is wonderful for prying and you wont cut your suit when you put it back in the sheath.

Sharp, easy to disassemble, shows no signs of rust after two dive trips, large enough to fight pirates.
