I got the Ti version, so I wouldnt have to worry about washing every night on a week long trip. Light weight, sharp, comfortable handle and very positive click into the sheath. Easy to pop out by pushing two "buttons" but it wont fall out on its own. Large blade and large handle.

One of the best dive knifes Ive had, easy access with the index and thumb squeeze, and return as simple, others such as the Titanium take more effort with double push with both hands, this is a perfect, quick release knife for those moments we all dread!
Nice, very nice!

So far okay....the snap in plastic lock clisere for knife into holder concerns me. Somewhat particular about being very aligned to allow proper "snap" for stowing. My impression is after "so many" snaps it will become worn and the knife will become loose.
Knife appears to be made solidly.

Great feature for securing the knife, and the easy release mechanism. Blade could be sharper, but nothing that the sharpening sticks wont fix.

I took my time when purchasing a knife and it was worth it. The titanium blade is so strong and sharp it easily could have fetched more money than what I paid for it. Great buy.

Questions and Answers for Akona Talon Knife:
Morgan:
Does this knife coe with a case to go over the knife when strapped to the leg and does it come with the straps as well?

:
As a rule dive knvies come with the sheath as pictured. As it states in the product description the knife comes with 2 depth compensating straps.
John:
No-one ever shows the sheath details. How easily does this attach to the grommets on a BCs pocket (such as my Pro QD)? Is there a kit to do that?
Bill (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
This knife is designed to be worn on the leg using the knife straps.

Hello John, on the back side of the sheath there are 2 screws and a metal bar. You take out the two screws and but the metal bar on the inside of the two holes. Then you your attach the sheath and put the two screws back in.
