Rating: Titanium dive knife

When the knife arrived I was happy with the quality. The knife was sharp and well made. The only issue I had was the sheath. I thought it was well made, but on my third dive with the knife it fell out and I lost the knife. If you can secure it another way it would be great. Thats why I gave the knife 3 stars.

Rating: Titanium Knife
Reviewer: Stephen Hermann,
Its a nice quality knife and locks in well. I thought it was a little duller than I expected, but Im new to diving and they may make them that way on purpose. I will be giving it a better edge myself though.

Rating: Great Knife and Value

This knife is just what I wanted and is also a great value. I have used it on several dives and I have not been disappointed.Although the titanium is a little hard to keep an edge the rust factor is well worth it.

Rating: Husband loves it!
Reviewer: Christy O.,
I purchased this knife for my husbands birthday and he absolutely loves it. He is very particular about his knives and especially likes the way this knife is made. He feels it will be extremely durable and useful for all his diving and snorkeling needs. I was unsure of ordering online but know my husband is very pleased with my choice.
Thank you.

This knife is the perfect size. It has a sharp edgs and very easy to clean with the removable handle. I did not get the neoprene knife wrap but I did not have any problem using the staprs taht came with it to attach to my leg.

Rating: Sharp essential for every dive.

This is a must-have for any diver. I lost my old titanium dive knife on a reef and knew what a valuable asset this was. I cut my way out of rope, line and a few fishing events and couldnt be without it. My new Scuba.com titanium knife is even better. It has all the durable, corrosion resistant advantages as my last one, but is actually sharper and the sheath is better designed so I wont lose it this time!

Rating: Good knife, but avoid the neoprene wrap
Reviewer: Gunther Mack Cruz,
The knife was great and seemed sharp. The grip felt comfortable. However, DO NOT get the extra neoprene wrap. It doesnt secure the knife well and I lost the knife on the very first dive. $70 down the drain...or somewhere in the Pacific Ocean.

Rating: Great value!

Couldnt believe the quality, especially for the price! I chose the blunt version, less chance of puncturing something by accident, and can be used as a screwdriver in a pinch. Get the neoprene knife wrap with it, very comfortable.

It was just as described. I bought it for my next trip to the caribbean a couple of months from now. I did test it in fresh water (muddy and otherwise) with no hint of corrosion. The cutting blades do a great job on rope and fishing line.

Seems perfect for its purpose in a mid priced blade
Is there anyway to get replacement parts for this knife. The handle and metal end cap somehow came off while diving. I love the knife but now its useless because it wont stay in the case properly without the handle.

Hello Jacob, yes this is a very good knife. Since it is made of titanium it will not rust in the water.
Scuba Titanium Dive Knife
Dive knives are something most instructors don’t spent a lot of time explaining to their students. Normally the topic is sped past during the equipment portion of a class as something everybody should have with possibly a sprinkling of “why” in terms of safety. Most dive classes are more interested in the exciting gear we all want to learn about such as a regulator or bcd, figuring we all know what a knife does. All too often we as consumers purchase the most inexpensive knife we can, find simply to have one strapped to our bcd or legs, only to find later on we’ve not purchased what we’d hoped to.
Stainless steel corrodes even with the best of care, and typically doesn’t hold enough of an edge to cut air, let alone much of anything else. Mini knives are inexpensive and a bit less cumbersome when mounted to your gear as opposed to your leg, but if you are diving in conditions requiring 3mm or thicker gloves, gripping one can be a challenge as our loss of dexterity through a layer of neoprene makes them difficult to use.
The Scuba Titanium Dive Knife takes into account everything a diver should need to concern themselves with when considering which piece of equipment to choose. It has a very comfortable hand grip that allows for a secure grasp of the knife even with thick cold-water gloves on. At its base is a large metal butt-cap that is terrific for using as a tank banger to get or keep the attention of a dive buddy or class. A hole drilled in the end of the hand grip allows the diver to use a lanyard or possibly mount some sort of retaining device to the knife if you are in an environment where losing it is going to be an issue. I’m not a huge fan of a lanyard on my knife, as I feel it is just another thing dangling from my gear to get fouled on the reef, or me or what ever, but I am sure there are situations where it would be a very handy feature to have. The titanium construction of the knife will help eliminate corrosion concerns and hold an edge very well, a fact I’ve all too painfully found out myself a time or two. The blade has every feature that a diver should deem important. It has a very sharp straight edge, but more importantly the other side has a serrated edge that runs nearly the entire length of the blade. This edge is much more functional when used under water and is a MUST for any good dive knife. The final blade feature that is something every dive knife should have is the line cutter. The perfect tool for slicing through mono-filament fishing line or pesky kelp strands. The knife is available in a blunt or pointed tip depending upon your preference.
Included with the knife is a very sturdy, hard plastic sheath that is secure but allows for easy one-hand removal of the knife and 2 leg straps. All in all, one of the best values for your money in a dive knife. If you want a knife that is strong, sharp, won’t corrode and is a real piece of scuba equipment then the Scuba Titanium Dive Knife should be your first and only choice.
