Rating: Sharp, Sharp, Sharp, and SHARP!
Reviewer: LOUIS D.  -  View all my reviews
This knife is no joke. It is razor sharp and I learned that the hard way. I was too lazy to get up and get a pair of scissors, so I instead decided to use the knife, which was nearby. The knife immediately cut through what I was cutting and cut into the top portion of my thumb right to the bone between the two knuckles. Needless to say, I have a pretty nasty looking scar thanks to this knife, my laziness, and stupidity. The sheath is sturdy and locks the knife securely in place. This is a good knife and the price is dirt cheap.

got this for my son(13) for christmas. felt like he was old enough now, and as he is getting more adventurous, he might find himself in pickle where he needs a knife. i took the good advice of another reviewer, as he explained that ... well, if you it while out in the water its likely not coming back. the price point to quality reviews made me feel like this was a good purchase.

Rating: fits nicely in pocket
Reviewer: ruth lyons
like I said, it fits nicely in pocket....but forgot it was there and did not take out after a few dives....and it rusted in spots.I just cleaned it up and oiled it, but I am suggesting that others thoroughly dry after dives.Great price!

Rating: Great knife and terrific price!
Reviewer: Norma L.  -  View all my reviews
I love this knife. It is good quality and the perfect size. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because of the website advertising printed on the knife but that is the only reason for the inexpensive price. You are receiving a good product for a great price in exchange for a little company promotion.

Saw this on sale for cheap and thought what the heck I could always buy another one when it breaks. Turns out it is a pretty good knife for what we paid for it. Complements my wifes Hera BCD very well.

I bought this knife for my girlfriend, and for the price, it was much more than what I expected. Were both very happy with this purchase and will continue to look for excellent values like this on Scuba.com!

Rating: good knife for the price
Reviewer: Troy Woodyard  -  View all my reviews
I bought this knife to attach to my BCD. I like the sharp point better than the blunt. The sharp just seems to be a better design. The low cost keeps from caring if I lose it. Make sure you dry it and wipe it with oil after use - it will rust. Also make sure the screws are tight in scabbard - mine were not.

You show two different knives with a blue sheath. Are both of them for sale for one price or are they priced a piece?

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

The Price is for one style not both knives. We picture both styles so you know what style you want to buy. If you would like to place an order or have any other questions please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.

  • Tracy:

How to attach B.C. Knives to B.C.? Is there a certain clip we need to order?

Bill  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Typically divers use a tie wrap or plastic cable tie to attach this knife to the bc.

  • Curt:

You are advertising this knife for $7.95 but it is coming up as $13.95 do I need a pormo code to get the $7.95 price

which knife makes more sense for a beginner?

Bill  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

The sharp has a notch that is used as a line cutter and is a good choice.

  • ruth:

which knife makes more sense for beginners?

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Ruth, any knife you go with will work for you very well. I would suggest going with a blunt tip and go with titanium. It will not rust like some of the stainless steel knife.

  • ruth:

which knife makes more sense for beginnners? can you travel with this knife in your stowed away luggage?or will it be comfiscated if they open your luggage?

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Ruth, as long as you are not carrying it on the plane you can check it in your bag.

  • Jacinta:

Hi can this knife be attached to a weight belt?

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Jacinta, yes there is a bracket on the back side of the knife sheath to attach to a 2" weight belt webbing.

The Stainless Steel Knife is made from durable 420 Stainless Steel for corrosion resistance and strength. It boasts a 3 1/8 inch blade length and an over-all length of 6 3/4 inches that features a serrated edge that is perfect for sawing through anything that may obstruct the diver. The handle features a finger and thumb rest giving a comfortable and secure grip even when wearing gloves and a solid metal butt cap designed to allow the diver to make more than enough noise to attract the attention of the divers around him or her.
