The scout is my latest bc. I have evolved with scuba, and at the age of 59, I have seen lots of inovation. This product is a prime example of ease of use and totla functionality. Not only is it comfortable and easy to ues, it performs better than any of the advertising. From the newest diver to old dogs like me, the scout is a perfectly matched piece of equipment. Great price, and excelent customer service. I would recomend it to anyone.

I bought this BC specifically for travelling and was very happy after the first trip. It is light and small, which is very important in the era when airlines are so meticulous about luggage dimensions, weight, number of pieces... The BC is completely functional for a 140lb guy in warm water with 15lb of lead. I used the integrated weight pockets, which were sufficient to fit 10-12lb. With a video camera I was putting a piece of lead in the pocket. I made a small modification: removed the front velcro (held by screws) and stitched a buckle at the back for a crotch strap. With this set up you do not feel like you are wearing a BC at all. My wife saw me diving with the bc, tried it and asked to buy one for her because it was quite a diffrenece with a jacket style bc. So, I just ordered a small one. BTW, it is $200 and built like a tank.

Likes: Light, no feeling of wearing a restrictive jacket. Feels like almost wearing no BC. Simple, uncluttered. Dislikes: 24 pound lift is just barely enough to float you and equipment at the surface - ie you sit a bit low. Your mileage may vary depending on equipment, body size etc. Overall, a good buy based on the price. In my case a good, simple, recreational BC.

Great BC! You have to be the right frame. Its a smaller cut, so if you arent it wont be the best BC for you. All in all though, its simple design is for more advanced divers on a budget.

It`s my first Zeagle. Like it very much. It is not as small as I hoped,bought it for travel.But now that I have used it,I am hooked!!!
