After being certified, I decided to buy all my own equipment and had trouble with the rental hood while diving. too tight, stiff etc. After purchasing the Neosport hood, I am much more comfortable. It is light, comfortable to wear and deffinetly kept me warm at 80 feet.

Bought two of these - one for my daughter & one for self. They run on the small size - mfr chart said my daughter should get a S and me an XL. I had to exchange my daughters for a L! Both hoods are still on the snug side. Quality seems to be very good though. Id rate the fit at a 3-4 (tight around head and face, loose/buldging in back of neck. Overall - 4-5 as an excellent value.

This was part of my outfit for working in 49 degree water in a lake this March. Fit was perfect, function also terrific, and delivery time was fantastic. Highly recommend, especially given the very low price.

I purchased this hood to take with me on my recent trip (08-22-08) to the Galapagos to use when we snorkeled. The hood did the job by keeping my head dry and warm while I snorkeled. I love this hood. I also purchased a pair of socks that also worked perfectly. I now want to buy gloves for my hands and a full body suit. Btw-snorkeling around the Galapagos islands was amazing. Our favorite was snorkeling with penguins, sea lions, rays, blue footed boobies and an abundance of fish around Pinnacle Rock!
