On the 15 of Oct 09 we completed a checkout fresh water dive in Clear Lake Manitoba. The weather was in the minus in Celcius and snowing. The water temp was about 8 or 9 C. The others wore dry suits and I went wet. I put in 30 min dive time and about another 45 min boat time. I never even had a chill. We are looking towards another set of lake dives for mid Nov and I will be diving both wet and dry. The Titanium Hood kept my ears comfortable.

I used this neoprene hood right away in the lake when the water temp was 49 degrees Fahrenheit. I worked very well, and although not a dry hood, it did keep mostly all of the water sealed out. This is a result of proper sizing I suppose. Overall, this item worked great! I will be using it all Spring until the water warms up a bunch....

I dive in the minnsoat where the watre is pretty cool in the fall. THis hood worked well in september and most of october but I suspect I will need to upgrade to a full 7mm soon. It is a good light duty hood where the water is 45 to 60 degrees.

Fantastic cold water hood. Fits great, easy to trim and it keeps your head and face warm, even with long hair. Very much worth the value and the price.

Nice hood with adequate collar to tuck into suit. Looked good with Akona wetsuit I also purchased. Open face so doesnt get in the way of mask.

This hood fit great and kept my head warm in 40 degree water. I had to trim it a little around the face/chin area, but other than that, its a great hood.

This XS Hood was very comfortable, warm of course and with being able to adjust the face part of the hood by cutting it to your fit is a great idea. If you like the face part of the hood was pushing against the my bottom lip, so I just cut it to shape and then it was a perfect fit. Thank you again. John M.

I dive in Michigan so exsposure protection is premium in the cool lakes. In a recent dive in Gull Lake, water temperatures were 55 degrees, the XS 6MM Titanium hood performance was 5 stars. Very warm and worked well with the wet suit I wore, sealing out the cold water. Greg.
