For a year-round commercial diver, the Henderson ice cap is a necessity for the daily 4-to-5 hours in the frigid winter waters of Kentucky Lake. This is a very comfortable addition to a hooded vest, to totally insulate the otherwise exposed areas of your face from the sting of the cold water. I am a mussell diver, and that means spending hours at a time under water in extreme conditions- this means using a hookah system, pumping hot water into a wetsuit, and eliminating any exposure to the ice water- this ice cap pays for itself every day!

The Henderson Ice Cap is a must have for cold water diving. Such a small piece of equipment makes such a difference when added to a thick hood. This product eliminates the "ice cream headache" often associated with cold water diving. I suggest modifying the mouth area prior to diving to facilitate regulator remove and replace. The downside of this product is durability. Due to the thin material and the stresses placed upon it, they only last about 1 year of regular diving.

The Ice Cap is OK. Doesnt add that much more warmth where you can tell.
