Are the seals on these gloves intended to stretch over a wrist ring as found on the Whites Fusion drysuit?
Hello Jim, Thank you for your inquiry! The Deep See 4mm Drysuit Comfort Diving Gloves are not manufactures to be used with wrist rings. These are “semi dry” gloves which help reduce the amount of water passing in and out of the glove. do the Deep Sea dry gloves come in a 3 finger glove? I have very poor blood flow in my ring and little finger and find that finger gloves do not keep them warm! I have been using 3 finger wet gloves and rubber bands around the wrists to keep them semi dry but after 45 minutes in 36F water ice diving here in Minnesota they get cold! My hands are very large and do not fit into the DUI style rings/gloves system. Help
Hello Rod, no these do not come in a 3 finger version. We do have these in a 3 finger version: http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-287/021156/Hyperflex-by-Henderson-5mm-Thaw-Claw-3-Finger-Surf-Mitts.html or http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-287/019046/Hyperflex-by-Henderson-6mm-Oven-Surf-Mitts.html.
If you like diving in cooler waters, wearing a drysuit and all the trappings that go with it, you still want to have warm hands and dexterity while under the sea. The best thing for that is the Deep See Dry Comfort Glove. Combining Skin-out neoprene wrist seals with flexible, comfortable gloves, the Dry Comfort gloves allow greater dexterity while diving dry, and keep my hands warmer. The dual cuff layers allowed us to use them in an amazing variety of configurations from full dry to a classic semi-dry wet glove. The gloves can be used with a standard drysuit ring system or simply pulled over your wrist. If used with a drysuit, one way to use them is to put the neoprene inner glove under your wrist seal, then pull the outer glove flap over the wrist seal.
