Have used these a few times now. The 3mm kept my hands warm in quite cold water. For an XL, the fit across the palm was tight. The gloves have many seams and folded over material at the fingertips which I was not expecting.

Rating: 3mm Rynohyde Gloves
Reviewer: David Cross, Sunday, November 04, 2007
I handle moorings, chain, tools and rough surfaced items all day long underwater. These gloves stand up to even the toughest items. Chain and moorings will destroy a pair of gloves pretty quickly. So far, these have held up nicely. No gloves will last forever in this environment, but these have done so well that I will probably buy more when these do wear out.

Rating: Great Gloves

I had to take my glove back off to adjust a seal on my suit... hands got cold quick! Put gloves back on and was instantly warm. Rhinohyde (Kevlar)protects them during spearfishing, so I dont burn through a pair with normal use.

I free dive, for spear-fishing purposes, along a rock jetty with many barnacles, mussels, and abrasive rocks, the gloves are holding up very well and are an excellent value, they are also quite warm. Richard Martin

Rating: Well made gloves

I use these gloves for spearfishing/crabbing/scalloping in cold water (48-52). Very well made and kept my hands warm even after 2hrs+ in the water. Great price too!

Rating: Great gloves

Fit well, not too bulky, yet good protection against sharp edges of "bugs" and fish. The wrap around velcro on each wrist is overkill.

Rating: gloves for the cold waters

Great gloves for someone with stubby hands. Very well made and comfortable. I would recommended to anyone with short and stubby hands.

They are great for keeping your hand warm and they provide good protection for your hands.I dive in them once a week doing boat work and they are holding up just great.
