Hi Brady, If your at the beach you can use sand to erase a slate. At home you can use Ajax and a sponge.

Hello Brady, depends on how you want to use your slate. I use the wrist slates like this one. I also use the flat slates when I am teaching a class so I can keep track of the students and skills that we are working on in the class.
