Rating: Give your dive gear a longer lifespan
Reviewer: Robert M.
Ive been treating my silicone based mask, rubber fins, and neoprene wet suit with silicone spray at the end of my diving season. After a fresh water wash and an air dry, I spray them generously and lightly wipe the excess off, then put them away until the next season. They are all still in good shape after 30 years. If you buy the small bottles you will spend a fortune. For my wife and I the gallon size in an old windex spray bottle lasts about 7 years for my needs.

I WAS BUYING THIS BY THE SPRAY BOTTLE AND IT WAS COSTING ME A SMALL FORTURE. I USE IT AFTER I WASH MY GEAR. AFTER 5 YEAR MY GEAR STILL LOOKS NEW.

Rating: Silicone Slick!
Reviewer: P. Ricard
I use this product on all my rubber and silicone scuba gear, on nylon zippers, and other automotive, RV, and around the house. It works great in place of petroleum based products such as Armor-all.

Questions and Answers for Trident Liquid Silicone (1 Gallon):

  • omer:

Can you please send me a technical sheet of the product (do you have an MSDS to send me?)? (Trident Liquid Silicone) Thanks

Greg  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

To receive a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), you can send an email at info@scuba.com for consumers and GSA@scuba.com for governmental entities. We have emailed the MSDS to your email address, which was provided.

  • Elsie:

This is a non-scuba question. The north side of my homes vinyl-siding & that side gets very dirty, quickly. (I have an oil heater which I am sure does not help). I was going to wash the siding (again) and then wipe it down with this silicone in hopes of making it stay cleaner longer. It seems ever since the siding was power washed this north side gets dirtier faster. Am I on the right track, will this keep the dirt off a bit longer? Thanks in advance.

Bill  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Unfortunately this product is used for diving equipment and we have no way of knowing is it is safe to use for your application.

  • Sid:

Can I "Trident Liquid Silicone" to coat nylon fabric to use for tents? Any information/assistance you guys can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

The Trident Silicone is a liquid lubricant. It will not seal your tent fabric.
