I ordered this suction cup tank holder to use on our 32 Regulator. It is great. Quick and easy to set up and take down. Holds tanks firmly in place.

Questions and Answers for Max Holding Systems Suction Cup Tank Control Kit:

  • Mike:

Could I have all dimensions . Diameter of suction cups ,how far apart center to center, and how far out they stand to the back of the rail.

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Mike, to get all the measurements you would need to call the manufacture directly at 772-429-1774

  • Eddie:

Concerning the max hold 4 tank holder- I know the suction cups hold well. What I need to know is if the suction cups can be moved and placed between the 3rd and 4th holder and/or between the 1st and 2nd holder. I need the 4 tank but only have 45" of usable flat space between my storage cubbies and the length of the holder is 47 9/16. Thanks.

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Eddie, no they would not be able to be moved. They are set in a fixed spots on the track part. They are no other holes in the track system for you to move them.

  • Eddie:

Concerning the max hold tank holder again. I know the suction cups hold. My question is, on the rail are the suction cups able to slide to another position or are they welded, glued or molded to the surface of the rail. Could I move the suction cup between the 1st and 2nd holder on one side and in between the 3rd and 4th holder on the other side. The picture is not clear enough to show how they are connected and I cant find anyone selling them that can answer this question. Thank you.

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Eddie, no the suction cups are fixed they do not slide back and forth. The suction cups are screw mounted to the inside of the track.

  • Eddie:

WoulD like to order the 4 tank system. Need to know if the suction cups can slide or are they fixed. I only have 45" of smooth surface and the system is 48" long. Called the company already and they only make the rails and holders and someone somewhere else adds the suction cups. Dont want to order and pay shipping twice if I have to send it back. Thanks

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Eddie, once you lock the suction cup down they will not slide. They are a fixed suction cup.

  • Russ:

OK I have the adjustable tank racks that can change from 8 inch to 10 inch can I change them out then? Im sure the system comes apart as it was assembled.

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Russ, if you take off the end caps you can remove the items on the track.

  • Russ:

How I disassemble the unit to change the settings of the adjustable tank clamp? I would like to purchase the system but I borrowed a friends and my wide tanks dont fit and I couldnt figure out how to remove and adjust them.

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Russ, the adjustable tank clamp will only move up and down the space of the clamps is not adjustable. They are designed to hold an 8" diameter tank.
