What I liked about the trim weight pouch was the quick attached. Im glad I went for these as opposed to the standard ones that require threading the tank band through it. I can use them on any BC I am using to easily improve my trim.

Rating: XS Scuba Trim Diving Weight Tank Pouch
Reviewer: Robert Steele,
Really easy to mount to the tank straps, or to the front of your BC. Found it was a little small for a five pound soft weight, but still plenty of velcro to keep it shut. Mounting to the BCD straps helps keep you in a head down position. The quick mount makes quick work to mount or remove as needed. Great choice for adding a little weight for staying on the bottom.

Rating: Perfect for spreading the weight around

I recently started drysuit diving and needed to added more lead. Using these additional weight pouches gave me a place to put the weights other than around my waist. They are a little tight sliding on the BC cam strap, but dont move once in place. They say theyll hold 5-lbs, but with soft weights 4-lbs fit better.

The trim pouches have really helped me to streamline my profile while diving. I wasnt crazy about having weights permanently attached to my tank straps. The pouches allow me to adjust the weights quickly and easily. Just make sure when attacking to the straps they are secure.

Rating: Great little addition to my dive kit
Reviewer: ian lofthouse, - View all my reviews
If your tired of putting all your weights into your front pouch - allowing a little more freedom then this is for you. I add 3 lb to each of these onto a weight belt that I clamp onto the tank, this allows me to only need 6 lbs in my front releasable pouches and reduces the "bulging" the pouches sufferred from before.

Rating: Trim weight pouch w/out quick attach
Reviewer: William Fisher,
Ive used these pouches on a few dives & theyve worked great. I opted to go without the quick attach,Its just something less to attach or adjust to your bcd before your dive. I put 4 lbs of shot weights in each pouch & they hold it great. Fits easy on your tank strap. The price is unbeatable. I would recommend for anyone that needs more weight.

Is it suitable for Sherwood Avid CQR3 Scuba BCD tank band? Im gonna use two pockets to each band
Darrick (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Hello Myoungkyu, yes you would need to attach these pockets to the tank band. But yes they will work for what you are trying to do.
Steve:
What is the quick attach and how does it work as opposed to the standard method?
Darrick (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Hello Steve, the quick attachment is a velcro loop. So you can open it up and attach it to the webbing. Instead of having to run the webbing threw the loop in the non-velcro version.
Steve:
Do I attach it to the tank strap or do I use another strap around the tank, that way I can adjust the positioning better. Is it better to use one or two pouches to evenly distribute the weight. Do you need clips to hold the pouch in place so it does not slide around the tank.
Bob (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
The pouch attaches to your existing cylinder band, so will not require any additional items to install. It can be moved anywhere on the band and is held securely in place by the tension of the band tightened against the tank.
