I have been using the Genesis valves for a long time. I recently decided to change to K/DIN valves, I already had several of my tanks switched over. When I went to order another one from where I usually got them they had switched to XS Scuba valves. I searched until I found a place to purchase the Genesis.

Reviewer: Timothy Birthisel,
Very versatile DIN/Yoke valve, but the fact that I needed to buy a replacement is a bit troubling. The LDS in FL stripped out the DIN conversion plug using an allen wrench. Somehow the plug had become jammed and would not come out despite the vigorous employment of a large "Easy Out," that further stripped the plug, freezing the valve, etc., following the wrench. Looks like the plug cracked, jamming it in place.
New one seems satisfactory, but I guess caution is in order removing and reinstalling the plug. Still have the old valve in case anyone has an idea about how to remove the tattered remnants of the plug.
