There are many combo din/yoke valves on the market. XS scuba valves are heavy duty and built to handle big steel tanks. The deciding feature for me was the color coding on the valve which allows your buddy to instantly see if its on(green)or off(red). Another feature to enhance safety.

excellent valve that can convert from yoke to din by just unscrewing the . i also like the extra feature of the green showing when the valve is open, and red showing the valve is closed. scuba.com shipped item free and in a timely manner. will do business with them again.

This valve allows complete flexibly between using DIN and yoke regulators. If you are in a family with mixed thread types on your regulators, this is the way to go.

Ordered this valve to replace the K-valve on a pony. Now using DIN regs exclusively. Item was replacement for OMS DIN valve that was not in stock at the time.

For those of us who use both yoke and DIN regulators, this kind of valve is the right idea. These should be installed on all tanks used by serious divers.

The new XS prov is a compact design. It has a lower more attractive profile while shedding weight, and maintaining High Pressure Service Qualities. These valves are rated for Nitrox Service
