We placed the order for 20 units on behalf of our overseas customer, not able to share opinion of the product itself.
But we can share opinion over the supplier Scuba.com
Out of 20 units order and charged for all 20 units, we received only 19 units. Not even apoletic answer.

This is a great tank/valve for the money. I just got the Sherwood tank in bright yellow and as with all of their products it was outstanding. There was one hiccup in that the valve was not included in the box with the tank, but with one phone call the scuba.com folks made it right and got the valve to me. No problems getting the tank filled with the visual inspection sticker on the tank.

Very nice and very smooth movement, great product.
I am purchasing two 80 Cu.Ft. U.S. Divers tanks from the 70s to early 80s. They are the black tanks that say professional on them. They had a dual manifold that has been removed.
Are the Sherwood K- valves a good choice for these tanks? Are they rated at 3000 or 3300psi?
Thanks, Eric.

The Sherwood 3000psi valve will work.
Charles:
Looking at buying Sherwood K Valves. There are different pressure ratings available, pretty much for the same price. Why wouldnt one just buy the highest rating (3300 psi)? I use 80 cf alum tanks, standard stuff. Thanks.

:
The rating of the valve MUST match up with the tank itself. Its not that you would get more PSI out of your tank having the 3300 PSI valve, this is a safety thing. An example would be if someone filling your tank gets distracted instead of your tank rupturing a small replaceable burst disk will rupture. Not having the correct valve with burst disk not only puts you in danger it puts the dive shop you use for tank filling in danger.
