a standard yoke valve has a dimple on the back to accommodate the tip of the screw on the regulator yoke. a standard din valve does not have such a dimple but is flat on the back. thus, while the will allow the regulator yoke to fit on the o-ring, the pointed screw will be in contact with the flat back of the din valve. because the tank pressure will be focused through a pointed screw in the back, is this modification safe or might it cause the valve to crack? also, because the valve lacks a dimple on the back, wont the yoke of the regulator be more prone to slip if the reg were bumped? im concerned about safety here. i very much like the idea of this product as i own 4 din tanks and am constantly having to reconfigure my regulator between rented yoke tanks and my own din tanks. also, the local dive shops dislike having to fill din tanks. it would be great to use s in all my tanks. thanks!
