These fins fit great, but I was looking for more of a scuba fin. They are not quite as long and wide as what I was looking for, more of a snorkel fin. For a snorkel fin I give them 5 stars, for a scuba fin I say 3 stars. I have used the Mares open heel fin for cold water diving, they are 15 years old and as good as the day I bought them.

Fins have much more power than my previous set, and fit nicely staying snug without having to force my foot into the boot as was the case with my previous fins.

Lee:
Considering Oceanic Viper Full Foot Dive Fins, What shoe sizes would correspond to the fin?

James:
Have own snorkel gear except fins. Have always depended on party boat to supply size 11-12 fin. Also, when I go to some great snorkel beaches I could use a set of fins.
DO YOU HAVE ANY FULL FOOT FINS THAT ARE SMALLER THAT CAN FIT INTO CARRY ON SUITCASE WITHOUT LOOSING TOO MUCH PERFROMANCE FOR SNORKELING IN WARM WATERS?
Bob (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Most all fins designed for snorkeling will be of a very similar length and over all size. This is necessary to offer the user enough surface area to move enough water to propel the average adult in the water that may have some surge, wind flow or current.
Randy:
How do snorkle fins differ from scuba fins?....interchangable usage??
Darrick (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Hello Randy, snorkel and swim fins are usually a shorter fin. So you will not get the same type of power and mobilebility that you will get with scuba dive fins. If you would like to place an order or have any other questions please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.

These will work fine for snorkeling. Order according to your shoe size, if you are in between sizes go up to the next closest size.
