After reading reviews on this item, I took the advice of getting a size smaller - and they were still too big. I bought as a Christmas Present. Bummed that we had to send them back so we didnt get a chance to use them.

in general, these fins worked out great. i have a 10 1/2 wide foot size (us) and so i opted for the next size up (12-13 instead of 10-11). i was intending to use a 3mm soft boot for a dive in the catalinas but the width of the fins was too narrow to accommodate the boot comfortably (length was right but width was too uncomfortable). my body is warmer than average so not having the boot helped keep me cool. at times the fin size felt maybe a half size too big, but since my feet are wide, i just made sure my heels were all the way back and then the fins felt fairly snug. the fins performed well. it felt very easy and comfortable to move in the water. near the beginning of a dive, i felt my foot tend to cramp but i just flexed my toes towards my knees and i felt fine. after that, i never had a problem with foot cramps. it also looked like i was using less effort to keep up than others were with their open heel fins and boots. once i tucked my arms back to the side and was more stream-lined, i noticed quite a bit of pick-up and movement was easy. they are lighter than my sons tusa open heel fins. they will also sink, but they dont like a rock. if youre moderately quick, you should be able to catch them before they go down. i intend to use these fins in hawaii more than anywhere else, thus the full foot. also, the price is much nicer than my sons open-heel with boot. i highly recommend these fins.

Light weight, great for snorkling and relaxed diving.
8-9 fits my 9-9.5 foot great.

Foot pocket is a little loose for size, blade is a little too flexible, blade doesnt hold its down angle well. Good propulsion and manuverability

I love these comfortable moderately flexible fins for my Masters long course workouts. Just watch the fit...fin size M (Womens 7-8, mens 6-7) fits my womens size 11 (mens size 9.5) foot!

good flexible design fit my feet very good. good propulsion while diving, although while swimming on the surface on by back i quickly tired. easy to put on and take off.
