Im interested in buying the Mares Volo Race Full Foot Fins, but the sizes stop at size 12. Im a size 13 in US. Could it fit or should I look for some other fins that are listing size 13 as an available option?
I am into speardiving, sometimes in strong currents, I would like to know which is best, between the Mares Volo or the Cressi reaction pro
Hi, I am trying to buy Mares Volo Race Full Foot Fins. When i add them to the shopping card, a pair of socks are automatically added, too. I do not want these sucks, but I cannot remove them from the cart. Please let me know how to buy the fins only! Thanks
Hello, I have a question about Mares Volo Race Fins. I have relatively wide feet, and I usually struggle to find a good fit. My normal size is 8.5-9. Should I buy mens 8-9? If they do not fit, can I exchange them? Thanks.
I wear a US size 12 shoe (wide)...but, Ive heard that these fins are sized according to a European fit. Anyone know if the 11-12 run large? Im doubtful that the size smaller would fit, but you folks seem to know your stuff. Thanks! Steven
will these work on my bare feet? i talked with one of my partners and she had hot shots or x shots, and she wore them without bootsso, what do you think, will it work or are there better options for scuba/travel. ill never rent fins again, and i like the feeling of bare feet. i ditched my boots for good in warm water thanks b
I am looking at the Mares Avanti Superchannel, Mares Volo Race, or Oceanic Vortex V-6. I am a total novice snorkeler and will be snorkeling in warm water and often strong currents. I bike a lot and fairly athletic. Ill adapt to whatever but I want power/speed and I would like to potentially use them spearfishing when I figure things out. What do you think? Is there a better option than these three?
Im interested in purchasing the volo race fins and the scuba mask, fin, and snorkle back pack BG-333 will the fins fit in the back pack. The back pak dimensions is 29x10x7?

Channel Thrust: Soft longitudinal inserts allow a controlled deformation of the fin blade while kicking. This channel shape moves a greater amount of water resulting in more thrust for the same effort. Mares design is inspired by marine mammals.
Latest development in Channel Thrust is the Superchannel. The blade is designed with a large flexible central Superchannel propelling water-flow more effi ciently down the fin blade instead of letting it spill over the sides for optimal performance and minimal diver effort. The limiting factors in traditional open heel foot pockets are their weight and the “parachute effect."
When finning, water gets into the space between the bootie and the foot pocket, creating drag like the air in a parachute. The perforations prevent this and have the additional benefit of making the foot pocket very soft and flexible. Furthermore, the suction effect which can make doffing of the fins cumbersome, is now forever a thing of the past.
OPB - Optimized Pivoting Blade: Allows the blade to maintain an optimal angle throughout the kicking cycle, whereas traditional fins achieve this only during a small portion of the cycle. OPB produces a constant thrust, which minimizes fatigue and produces fluid movement through the water.
