We purchased these fins as a beginner set for our 14 year old son who just completed his Open Water certification. After borrowing an old pair of dads full-foot split fins, he commented on how much of a difference there was with his manuverability, propulsion, and ease of use. He has only used them on his four check-out dives but seems to like them a lot. They are a good starter set for a first time diver.

These are my first ever fins but I have no problems with them whatsoever. I used them through class and now for my open water dive. They work. I would recomend them

I cant comment on the performance of this fin, because the fit was way too large. If you wear a mens 9, even the smallest size is about 2 sizes too large.
