Rating: Excellent Product - Happy customer :)
Reviewer: Joel S., Thursday, August 23, 2007
I am really happy with my purchase, thus far. Excellent quality traditional fin. They generate lots of power throughout the kick. I really like the angle on the blade, it is more comfortable than a standard fin. I found these to be a definite hybrid between a stiff plastic fin and a softer rubber fin. As such, they are a stiffer fin, but have plenty of flex where they need it. In a traditional non-split fin, I prefer a stiffer flex. These seem to be to be a happy medium between super stiff and soft. Fit wise, these are made to be worn with dive boots. Dont get any ideas about wearing them without dive boots. I wear a 3mm boot with a sole, and they fit perfectly, without any slippage - ideal for optimum energy transfer. As long as you wear a dive boot with these, they fit true to size. i.e. size ten foot - size 10 fin. I like the fact that these have a really deep foot pocket. There are no hot spots or areas of discomfort while using them. For me, the factory heel straps are perfectly adequate. I dont mind not having the spring straps at all - just my opinion. It is always a good idea, though, to have an extra pair of straps on hand. All in all, I am very happy with these fins.

Rating: Light-weight, comfortable, inexpensive & works well
Reviewer: linda rutherford, Sunday, November 19, 2006 - View all my reviews
After my 12-year old Apollo fins broke, I bought the black & silver Tri-Ex. It is hard to tell about velosity. My Apollos always seemed fast, but it might be because I could distinctly feel the resistance of the water during the kick. On the Tri-Ex, I dont feel much resistance. It is as if I dont have fins on, yet my legs never got tired. Perhaps they are so aero-dynamicly designed that you dont know they are there. They are definately more comfortable. I did ten days of drift diving in Sulewesi with no problems, but was mostly drifting. Woman beware that their sizes for the black and silver model run very BIG. I wear a womens 9 street shoe, so I ordered a Medium. It was huge. My husband tried it on and it fit him. So, I returned that and got a Small which fit perfectly. For $79 it seems like money well spent.

Great boots for the dollar! Were purchased for a new diver to get certified in and had to buy two sized to ensure a good fit. At the end of the day, this pair was the duplicate which were had intended to send back. However, having tried on her pair in the pool, both my husband and I loved them and have decided to keep them. Now we have to duke it out over who gets to use them! All in all, a very good pair of fins for the cost. Nicely designed, sturdy and great for beginners and more advanced divers alike!

Rating: Great Fit! Great Price! Run slightly small
Reviewer: Mark H., Friday, April 11, 2008 - View all my reviews
We bought these for our daughter who did her OWC in Florida. Since she was in England, we ordered based upon shoe size. She wears an US-8 in womens shoes, but this ended up being the wrong size in the fins. She really needed the 5-7 to fit her appropriately. Just something to be mindful of when ordering these fins. Otherwise, great value for money. As I said in my other review, we are keeping the slightly larger ones as we were very impressed by the quality and capability of the fins.

Rating: easy to kick, easy to put on, easy to take off...
Reviewer: Sam Yang, Tuesday, September 19, 2006 - View all my reviews
initially i bought this for my girlfriend because she is more form over function (pink is her favorite color). however, i gave them a try in the pool and they perform very similar to the avanti excels that i use. what i dont like about them, which is only puerly a personal taste matter, is they are a little positivea bouyant (just a little) which is annoying for surface swimming. under the water though, they are only excelled by a couple split fins i have tried

Rating: For fans of less flexible fins...
Reviewer: Bruce Bennett, Tuesday, September 19, 2006 - View all my reviews
If stiff fins give you leg cramps, these are probably not for you. But if you (like me) dont care for the limp-floppy feel of most other premium fins, these are a notch above the rest. The strap fasteners are great, easy to use and adjust, even in heavy wetsuit and gear, both going on and coming off. Very slightly positive buoyancy. Very good foot comfort with boots on (for my size 10 feet).

Rating: TUSA fins ROCK!!
Reviewer: Jeffrey Sanow, Saturday, June 30, 2007 - View all my reviews
In my view the TUSA triprex fins are far and away the best value. They are durable, powerful, comfortable and inexpensive. THis is the Warren Buffet value of fins. Gets the job done at a great price. For less than $100 you get a fin that is perfect for all uses and is sized to fit everyone. I recommend it to every one of my students, plus my daughter and wife dive with them.

Rating: solid fin but floaty
Reviewer: Katharina Koch, Friday, May 04, 2007
i have tried other paddle fins and these seem to move much easier through the water than others. they are positively buoyant, so they float which is good, if the fins are ped..at least they dont dissappear on the sea bottom. it worked ok for me. ankle weights might wanna be considered for diving. all in all pretty solid paddle fins.

Rating: Good Fin for Strong Swimmer
Reviewer: Brad Norman, Wednesday, September 20, 2006
I am 6’4 and love these fins because I can cruise slowly with no effort and swim very fast if it’s needed. I am an intermediate diver that is naturally a strong swimmer. I have taken these fins on two week long dive trips and they have held up well. Overall great fins for a reasonable price!

This is the first set of fins I have purchased. I was just in Cuba and they work very well on my dives. I found that they didnt require much effort to move both myself and my gear. For the price they are a good fin and I will defiantly buy a pair of these again.

Rating: IMPREX TRI-EX FINS
Reviewer: Candee V., Wednesday, March 21, 2007
As an avid snorkler, transitioning to scuba, I was impressed with the ease of donning and adjusting the scuba fin. Compared to others in my scuba class, these fins seemed to be of more sturdy material at the foot pocket and are quite stylish, as fins go.

I use them for diving and snorkling. They generate very little leg fatigue and they move you through the water at a decent speed with much less effort. I recently upgraded from another TUSA set of fins and will probably chose TUSA for my next upgrade.

Reviewer: Robert Beck, Sunday, June 24, 2007 - View all my reviews
Nice fins, good price. I do notice that they have a much higher fatigue rate than my split fins. I got a pair of aeris velocity duo fins for myself at the same time my wife got these and she likes my fins so much she decided to switch to the aeris fins.

The fins were excellent. I used them on two consecutive dives a day over the course of the vacation with no fatigue. The propulsion was great. I had no trouble with the fit and they were easy to adjust. The quick release was useful and easy to use.

These are great fins and I have really enjoyed using them. Moving through the water is fast and easy. The straps are excellent and allow them to be adjusted easily and the snap-in clips allow them to be removed easily while still in the water.

Like these fins for the price, my only warning is they are very light a have a way of keeping your feet extra boyant. If that works for you, these fins are great! With some ankle weights you should be set to go.
