42.5 in EUR sizing is equal to a US 9.5. I recommend the Large size fins (US 9 - 10)

Do you what the production year and manufacturing date is of the fins? I am asking because the fins manufactured before 2010 have slightly different sizing than after 2010.

Hello Arthur, you would need to contact the manufacture directly on that. We order the most current version of that fin. It does not come time stamped when they were made. If you want to contact the manufacture directly here is there contact number (800) 467-2822.

Ordering according the shoe size is correct. As long as the item is not used in the water you have 60 days to refund or exchange it.
