Rating: Newcomer to diving/snorkeling
Reviewer: Donna Hobbs, Friday, June 12, 2009
The fins seemed to work really well in normal dives. When making quick turns they seemed to want to slip off my heel, but that is while using the spring straps. We were in the water for next to 1 hour 20 min. on the last outing and my legs never fatigued so I feel that is a great plus. Ive only rented or borrowed other fins in the past so I really have nothing to compare. I Paired these with 2mm- low top titanium socks, but think they will work great with some hard/med. soled slip-ons instead. I only rated it a 3 star since I havent really known what the other fins were I used in the past. I wear a size 9&1/2- 10 shoe. Hope this review helps someone!

The fins were excellent. I used them on two consecutive dives a day over the course of the vacation with no fatigue. The propulsion was great. I had no trouble with the fit and they were easy to adjust. The quick release was useful and easy to use.

Rating: Nice looking & well finning!

Great boots for the dollar! Were purchased for a new diver to get certified in and had to buy two sized to ensure a good fit. At the end of the day, this pair was the duplicate which were had intended to send back. However, having tried on her pair in the pool, both my husband and I loved them and have decided to keep them. Now we have to duke it out over who gets to use them!
All in all, a very good pair of fins for the cost. Nicely designed, sturdy and great for beginners and more advanced divers alike!

Rating: Great Fit! Great Price! Run slightly small

We bought these for our daughter who did her OWC in Florida. Since she was in England, we ordered based upon shoe size. She wears an US-8 in womens shoes, but this ended up being the wrong size in the fins. She really needed the 5-7 to fit her appropriately. Just something to be mindful of when ordering these fins. Otherwise, great value for money. As I said in my other review, we are keeping the slightly larger ones as we were very impressed by the quality and capability of the fins.

Great purchase!Appears to be a bit larger in size than the usual fins,so ended up having to buy a smaller size than I usually would have.Good quality, durable, and very comfortable to use for long periods of time. Never regretted this buy.

Rating: Excellent Product - Happy customer :)
Reviewer: Joel S., Thursday, August 23, 2007
I am really happy with my purchase, thus far. Excellent quality traditional fin. They generate lots of power throughout the kick. I really like the angle on the blade, it is more comfortable than a standard fin. I found these to be a definite hybrid between a stiff plastic fin and a softer rubber fin. As such, they are a stiffer fin, but have plenty of flex where they need it. In a traditional non-split fin, I prefer a stiffer flex. These seem to be to be a happy medium between super stiff and soft. Fit wise, these are made to be worn with dive boots. Dont get any ideas about wearing them without dive boots. I wear a 3mm boot with a sole, and they fit perfectly, without any slippage - ideal for optimum energy transfer. As long as you wear a dive boot with these, they fit true to size. i.e. size ten foot - size 10 fin. I like the fact that these have a really deep foot pocket. There are no hot spots or areas of discomfort while using them. For me, the factory heel straps are perfectly adequate. I dont mind not having the spring straps at all - just my opinion. It is always a good idea, though, to have an extra pair of straps on hand. All in all, I am very happy with these fins.

Rating: TUSA fins ROCK!!
Reviewer: Jeffrey Sanow, Saturday, June 30, 2007 - View all my reviews
In my view the TUSA triprex fins are far and away the best value. They are durable, powerful, comfortable and inexpensive. THis is the Warren Buffet value of fins. Gets the job done at a great price. For less than $100 you get a fin that is perfect for all uses and is sized to fit everyone. I recommend it to every one of my students, plus my daughter and wife dive with them.

Rating: Good fin, good price

Nice fins, good price. I do notice that they have a much higher fatigue rate than my split fins. I got a pair of aeris velocity duo fins for myself at the same time my wife got these and she likes my fins so much she decided to switch to the aeris fins.

Rating: solid fin but floaty
Reviewer: Katharina Koch, Friday, May 04, 2007
i have tried other paddle fins and these seem to move much easier through the water than others. they are positively buoyant, so they float which is good, if the fins are ped..at least they dont dissappear on the sea bottom. it worked ok for me. ankle weights might wanna be considered for diving. all in all pretty solid paddle fins.

Rating: IMPREX TRI-EX FINS
Reviewer: Candee V., Wednesday, March 21, 2007
As an avid snorkler, transitioning to scuba, I was impressed with the ease of donning and adjusting the scuba fin. Compared to others in my scuba class, these fins seemed to be of more sturdy material at the foot pocket and are quite stylish, as fins go.
