Average Customer Review: based on 2 reviews.Rating: Great fins
I have bad case of bunions and live in Kailua Kona. Need to wear water shoes due to rocky shores. I normally wear 9.5 2e shoes: what size fins do you recommend? What other fin do you recommend? Genesis coronado and mares avanti both seem ok in pics - what do you think?? by the way, looking for a set for my wife also, and we only snorkel.
Hello Bryant, Thank you for your inquiry! Your will want to wear the Caicos Dive Fins Mens 8.5-13/Womens 9.5-12. http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-20/012214/Akona-Caicos-Fins.html And your boots should be at least a size 9. http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-112/Boots-Warm-Water.html If you have any questions or wish to place an order, please call us at 1-800-247-2822 or 949-221-9300.
WHAT IS THE LENGTH OF THESE FINS. CAN YOU RECOMMEND A FEW OTHER FINS UNDER $100 THAT ARE NOT LONGER THAN 20" (NEED TO FIT IN A PACK)
Hello Philip, these fins are 22" in length. If you are looking for a pair that is under 20" you would need to look at either: http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-20/114544/TUSA-UF-21-Sport-Snorkel-Fins.html which is 18" or the: http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-20/114224/Ocean-Quest-Pacific-Adjustable-Strap-Fins.html that are 19" in length.
The new Caicos fin has an extended sole plate, which adds thrust and relieves strain on your foot. Simple and reliable strap adjustment system. Contoured foot pocket for maximum comfort. Fins can be used with or without booties. High grade polypropylene material. The directional channel, in the middle of the fin, increases propulsion efficiency.
Vent spaces, on each side of the fin, releases water not involved with thrust.
