Rating: Diver Benjamin
Reviewer: Stephen Page,
I use this BC for much more then recreation. It has proven to be a great and realiable working BCD. A feature that I utilize most is the 6 stainless steel D-rings, also the ease of the intergrated wieght system is convient. I am considering purchasing the CQR3 for the whole team.

Rating: Good BCD
Reviewer: mario west,  - View all my reviews
After diving with in Panama City, Panama (On Portobelo), the BCD was very conformable because Im 65 (and 250). Went on 4 dives between 40-90 feet, on all dives the BCD inflated comfortable and held weigh bags great (with quick release). I would recommend this BCD.

Rating: Great BCD
Reviewer: Alex O.,  - View all my reviews
Lots of D-rings to hang everything you need and easy to add the Akona BCD kit. Very functional. Used the back weight compartments to distribute my weight (2 lbs each pocket) along with the quick release pockets. Much more balanced in the water, similar to using weight belt with weights spaced apart.

Reviewer: Raymond Proa,  - View all my reviews
I have used the Sherwood Avid for a while which is why I gave one to a friend as an end of your life present. Needless to say it is world better than his ebay BC and he now swears by it also. I highly recommend due to its comfort, adaptability, and its just plain sexy to look at.

Rating: Very Nice Buy..........
Reviewer: Raymond Proa,  - View all my reviews
BC is used for our dive team and has to be one of the most comfortable vest type I have ever used. Highly customizable due to all the D rings and other multiple attachment points. I would highly reccomend to anyone looking for a good and durable BC, the is very customizable.

Rating: Solid Sherwood
Reviewer: Todd B.,  - View all my reviews
Fit and finish are as expected from Sherwood. Nice float position on surface. Would like to see a handle for carrying after the tank is mounted, also a retention for console. These were both features on my previous Sherwood BCD.

Rating: Sherwood Avid 2008
Reviewer: Glen Bennett-Ferland,
Replaced an early 90s Sherwood Freedom with this one, what a difference. No more messing around with a weight belt. This is super comfortable, lots of storage space, and lots of buoyancy control both on surface and below. Dump valves are hard to find, but Im coming from a BCD that had none, so its just a matter of getting used to it. I just came back from a trip in Victoria, British Columbia, and was one of the few that was not struggling with this or that on the boat(I hate rental gear!)
