Well made and rich with features, but light-weight and made for warm water diving. I bought it to use for southern california diving and had to return it. The pocket design weight-integration system can only hold 5-8 pounds in each pocket and the 480 denier is not rugged enough. Bought the back-inflated Oceanic Excursion.

I first used this BC when I rented, and it fits me really well and is comfortable. I love the zipper pockets on the sides, and you cant beat the price. It will also hold 12 lbs of weight in the integrated pockets.

Questions and Answers for Cressi Aquapro 5R Scuba BC:
Richard:
My wife weights 99 lbs soaking wet. What size Cressi Aquapro 5 bcd should I order for her? Will this BCD accomodate a Scuba Pro alternate air source? She has and old BCD with the Scuba Pro unit that we want to use with the new BCD. would I need to get an adapter?

im a southern califonia dry suit diver,i usually use 16-18 lbs of weight on a belt.in a review of this bc it said it would only fit 8lbs of lead in each pocket,is this true?
Hello. Ive noticed that this BCD has Cressis Commando inflator hose. Is it compatible with Atomics SS1 safe second, please? If not, can I retrofit this BCD with the older versions inflator hose assembly so I can use the SS1? Thanks.

The Cressi BCs are not compatible with integrated inflator/regulators. You might want to contact them regarding the older style hoses. http://www.cressisubusa.com/contatti/index.asp
