I purchased this as a BC for my non Tech diving activities and for class/pool activities, I have found it to be durable enough for all of the activities that I am involved in with my D.M. course and recreational dives. Everything is within reach and easy to manipulate. Definately recommend.

Both my son (13) and I own this BC and we find it comfortable and easy to use. The floatation is more than adequate, and it is comfortable to put on and remove.
A few niggling points. The integrated weight pockets can fall out of their sleeves if you have too much weight in them (6 pounds is OK, 8 pounds is not), so if you have more than 12 pounds, put the extra weight into the velcro pockets on the side. The strap to hold the tank on needs to get "broken in" to the right length to hold tanks, so be careful the first couple of times you go out. The tank will have the tendency to slip out until the strap gets streched out and develops a bend in the place where it wraps over the buckle.

I bought the XL based on my exact measurements, but would have been able to wear a L because all the straps are adjustable. It might have been a better idea for me to have called a rep with my measurements and let them help me. I did however LOVE the quick release weight pockets. They seemed to displace the weight better than the belts that were all familiar with.

It is a good starter or if you only dive a couple of weeks out of the year. It tended to get a lot of water inside it. I checked all the seals and couldnt figure out why. Good buy and it performed well. I would buy it again.

i had trouble with the velcro on the side of the bc the velcro didnt hold my weights and they fell out when i hit the water. a more sensible thing would have been zipped pockets for integrated weights. the shoulder straps could have been the snap type, for quicker release.

FOR THE MONEY THIS IS A GREAT BC! VERY COMFORTABLE ON THE BACK, KEEPS YOUR TANK VERY SECURE, BECAUSE OF THE TANK PLATE, THE TANK DOES NOT MOVE FROM ONE SIDE TO THE OTHER AS SOME TANKS WILL DO ON BCS. THE FIT IS TRUE AND THE ADJUSTMENTS ARE EASY. FOR THE PRICE, IT IS A GREAT FIRST BC. THE WEIGHT INTEGRATION IS EASY TO FILL AND EASY TO DUMP IF NEEDED. THE DUMP VALVES ARE EASY TO REACH AS WELL AND WORK GREAT.

Bougth the BC for my son for reasons:1 it was an oceanic brand (always good). He is also a beginner and young so he needs to use this for quite a few years to come. It is a christmas present so not really used yet.

I think this is a great BC for beginners such as me because it is weight integrated, moderately priced and amazingly comfortable. A couple of possible improvements could be a steel clip for the tank and back weight pockets for weight distribution. I bought this in scuba.coms package and I think it is the best buy for a diver looking to combine price and quality.

This BC is a great value for the dollar! It is lightweight and comfortable to travel with. The single tank band and rigid backpack give the tank great stability with minimal hassle for quick tank changes. It has plenty of accessory attachment points and large pockets for inboard storage. The integrated weight system is as good as it gets by todays standards and it has plenty of lift for warm and cold water environments. For the casual diver that travels or for beginners, this is the way to go - all the features without a high price.

The BC that I got was really comfortable to put on and use. In the past the rental BCs I had used caused some backache and didnt seem to really fit right, but when I rented an Oceanic I knew I had to get one of these for myself because it fit so nicely. Its a great product too - never had any difficulties with it and it seems fairly sturdy. The fill and dump buttons are really easy to use and its easy to use to secure your tank into place.
