Does everything intuitively. Read the manual once and used it for 18 straight dives without a problem. The best option imho, the ability to customize alarms during the dive. Excellent computer, the best I have used yet.

Titanium wrist band is superb I did not have to get it resized to fit over the sleeve of my wetsuit which is 5mm and a 2mm skin suit. It gives me all of the critical information needed for a dive from 15 ft to 90 ft. I like this new timepiece, I bought it as a backup instead of a BUD. My primary gauges are the pro plus-2 this was a great buy when it came out and it will retain its value over time.

Rating: Nice dive computer, great packaged deal
Reviewer: Barnaby N.,
This dive computer is feature rich in a package small enough to be used as an everyday watch. I wore this during my 3 week vacation and nobody noticed it except for those around the dive sites. However it is very thick (compare to a normal watch) so you have to be careful, otherwise it will get bumped against things.
The package comes with a Titanium bracelet, I dont know how useful is that for diving, as the first thing I did was to replace it with the short rubber strap, long enough for my slim wrist on wetsuit. There is a long rubber strap as well, if you have big wrist and need drysuit. Although the computer is made of Titanium, it will trigger the metal detectors in airports, probably due to the electronic inside.
I wanted a computer with built-in compass, thinking it should save me another piece of equipment, but you probably want a separate compass if you really need to use one. Compare to a standalone compass, the lubber line/needle is very small. The computer will show left/right arrows if you are not on a straight line, but this only works if you are going on a straight line and turn back 180 degree. It wont help if you turn at 90 degree. Also the compass will switch back automatically to dive mode in 1 minute, so there is no way to have the direction and gauges at the same time.
It will be nice to be able to disable DTR alarm. Because it calculates DTR based on other settings like END pressure, DEPTh and SAFETY stops, it will beep way before the realistic DTR. I ended up disabling alarm altogether just because this is too annoying.
I encountered problems installing the Windows software on my Windows desktop, but I didnt spend time to resolve it, I just used my MacBook Air and a Mac app that I found on the Internet.

Simply an artifact!
It has more functionality than I will probably use, and the quality of workmanship and presentation exceed any expectation.

Why is this so cheap? And is it better than the VT 4.1?

Hello Greg, The VT4 is a larger display computer. Where this is a more of a wrist watch style watch.
