This is my first dive computer. Used it last week in St. Lucia and it worked perfectly. Im glad I bought it. Its great to be able to look at the computers logbook and fill in your logbook when you get back on land, instead of on a rocking boat.

Rating: Excellent computer

Ive used the computer on 3 dives so far and it is exceeding my expectations. The information is clearly visible and easy to interpret. The one touch button also simplifies the menu navigation. The instruction manual could be better in describing the various menus, but after spending a few minutes with the watch, it was easy to figure out. This is my first dive computer, so I dont have any experience with other products for comparison. Regardless, it appears to be a great computer.

I first purchased a Mares Mission Puck dive computer after my old computer failed during a dive trip. It is so easy to read and use that I purchased a second One for my wife. One bounce feature that I discovered is that it will turn its self on at about 15-20 feet should you forget to do so before entering the water. We do a lot of remote area diving and having the same computer utilizing the same batteries simplies the issue of carrying spare batteries.

Rating: MARES MISSION PUCK

This is a great product. Used it on 4 dives at variable depths. 2 Dives were done to depth of 40m(122ft)28% and 32% NITROX blend. The computer warning on exeeded depth is 100% accurate. The VIS on one dive was real bad and water was merchy. The PUCK how ever surprized me again with the clarity and bright display. I will not buy any other product. I had other name brands, but all my gear has since been changed out to MARES. MARES gear is not just good and durable it is also very well priced.
Thank you
Phillip Theunissen

Rating: MARES dive computer

I like the ease of the computer and have taken it on 5 dives in the last few days here in the Philippines. All of my dive friends both American and Filipino believe it is very good and useful though conservative on its readings. Yes I can change the default readings but am in favor of being safe all the time. I also like its large lettering as my eyesight at age of 67 is not what I would like it to be. Sincerely, J Schill

Rating: Great computer for a great price

My husband and I both bought the Mares Puck wrist computer and used them during our PADI Advanced Open Water course in July 09. Easy to follow directions to set-up and use. Its a basic computer but has some advanced functions like safety stop monitoring and nitrox. We used it for one week of diving, so we dont have any long term use history. Looking forward to using it in January when we go to Bonaire.

First computer purchased, bought two, one for me one for 14 YO son. Bought because other reviews said, simple, easy to use.
Pros: It is very simple to use, had to read manual only once. Interface easy to read, shows limited, but important data. Good safety alarms/features including accent rate, altitude, gas mixture (did not use Nitrox). Stores 40 dives with basic required data for your log book. Menus easy to understand. Price to quality appears excellent.
Cons: Some may consider bulky, but I had no problems. One button control is great, but took a few times to familiarize when scrolling through menus.
Im very satisfied for a fight computer.

purchased a mares dive computer from scuba.com.saved some money because I was told it was "nearly" new, just was a floor model to show customers. It turns out it has several dives recorded in its log from 150 - 70. Its about Honesty.

Rating: Mission Puck Wrist Computer Computer Only

Mission Puck Wrist Computer Computer Only was fine, easy to read. I just recd the downloader and havent had time to download yet, but we are generally happy with it as a backup computer to our Aladins. It is really conservative on dive time etc.

The band thing that goes thru the hole twisted and went on the other side of the band. It is not usable now. The pin which holds the buckly assembly was loose too. I was not able to dive with it until I get it home and slip the pin back out and reassemble like it should be. Not real happy, as this should not be happening on the third use. As far as the first two dives, the computer operated properly and I was very happy with it. The computer is easy to use and easy to see underwater. I am seriously considering returing if this happens again. Dive equipment should be heavy duty and not fail on its third use.
