Rating: good product

good pen for marking your equipment. am not sure how long the ink will last on the products. Was easy to start using by shaking and pressing the tip several times on paper until the ink/paint flowed easier.

we used this pen to mark all of our black gear. my husband made lines and designs on the bottoms of our dive fins it was easy to spot each other on dives! next dive trip i will bring two, since everyone else on our trip was constantly asking to borrow our great pen.

Rating: Marks survive diving pretty well
Reviewer: Daniel Z., Monday, January 26, 2009 - View all my reviews
The orange pen produced marking that are easy to see. They survived 21 dives so far with some loss, but still readable in most cases. I didnt attempt to rub off the marks to see what happened, but they serve the purpose of identifying gear to honest people.

Rating: Great pen!
Reviewer: Taylor B., Saturday, June 21, 2008
Even though it smells quite horrible, the yellow pen leaves a very bright mark on the blackest of flippers. However if you make a mistake, there is no easy way to remove the paint, but I guess that is good in the long run.

This pen is perfect for anybody who dives. How many times have you noticed somebody else with a piece of equipment that looks just like yours? Use this pen to mark all of your gear. Its a great thing for dive lights and mask - usually get tossed in one big rinse tank on the boat. Dries quickly and comes in a variety of colors.

Rating: TRIDENT MARKING PEN Silver
Reviewer: Geoffrey Rand, Sunday, March 11, 2007 - View all my reviews
I purchased the silver colored pen. It works well on neoprene and nylon, however the markings I put on my fins rubbed off after 3 pool sessions. I have heard keeping plastic items marked requires periodic reapplication, so I am unsure if it is the fault of this product or just a fact that plastic is difficult to keep labeled.

Rating: Good Marker - But Only For Hard Surfaces
Reviewer: RICHARD B., Monday, August 17, 2009 - View all my reviews
This is a good marker (better than using a Sharpie), but it is only good for hard surfaces. It does not work well on neoprene or other "soft" surfaces. Use marking paint on soft surfaces.

Rating: Worked well.

It marked all our gear easily and only seemed to fade on a few pieces that had the most use.

Rating: good thing to have...............
Reviewer: Daniel North, Monday, September 18, 2006 - View all my reviews
Marking pen - - good thing to have to keep your gear getting mixed up with EVERYONE elses stuff. The only improvement Id make is that they should offer a markng pen that is similiar to a t-shirt decorating paint - something where the fluid is a bit THICKER....when marking FABRIC items the more liquid paint has a tendency to just soak right into the fabric and be very hard to see, or requiring SEVERAL applications.
