Rating: Basic

It is a very basic reel - a bobbin with a string & a clip. nice & compact to go in the pocket along with your SMB. This may need a little getting used to for Deployment underwater as the reel has no tension & the string can come loose ..... just a little practice & you should be fine.

Rating: Finger Spool - Diver Safety Sausage
Reviewer: Thomas L Winton,
Used the finger in conjunction with a safety sausage while diving in Cozumel. Very compact, easily attached to the BC. Viewed as superior by those with whom I was diving - several indicated they were going to purchase as a replacement for their existing spools.

Rating: It is what it is
Reviewer: Daniel A.,  - View all my reviews
Its a spool, not much to it, I have used it a couple times while guiding a group, and havent had any issues. I bought it for the price, and it does everything I want it to do (provide a line to my marker so the boat can come pick us up while we do the safety stop)

Rating: A simple spool
Reviewer: Scott M.,  - View all my reviews
Construction and line quality are perfectly fine. My only complaint is that the spool is SLIGHTLY too small for 75 of line. There isnt enough room to clip a bolt snap through a hole in the spool without cutting off several feet of line. Not a big deal but a tad annoying.

Rating: Watch out for razor sharp double-headed clip
Reviewer: Eric Busse,
The spool and line are fine, but the clip sliced my finger when I was washing it. Turned out to be extremely sharp edges on on the clip slides.
