If I want the Max Air 35 with the single phaze electric motor does it come "plug and play" or do I have to do some wiring? Also, how much is it with the electric motor?
I am looking for a compressor to be installed on a boat. Only place big enough is the engineroom. Whats your opinion on an 220v aplication being used when engineroom cool and air braught in from outside. Its a spacious stand up engineroom on large sportsfish.
Hello Nick, if you are going to be running it down in the engine room. Then you are going to need to make sure the the exhaust from anything be taken inside the air intake of the compressor. As long as that happens I do not see why you would not be able to fill a few tanks. Just to let you know this compressor is not designed to be running on a continued base. If you are only filling a few tank then turning it off to let it cool down before running it again. if this compressor wasnt meant for continuous use, how many bottles can be filled before needing to shut down for cool down? @ approx 3 tanks an hour.
Curious if anyone has experience running the 110 V. electric version powered by twin Honda generators producing a 30 amp circuit when paired? Any problem with such a setup? I would like the versatility of either electric or gas (via generators that I already own.) Thanks!
What is the max wattage (likely the start-up wattage) of the single phase electrical version of this compressor? Id like to know if my generator has the capacity to run the electrical version.
Is there an adaptor for this compressor to use on 300 DIN valves. I have DIN and yoke valves.

I have 4 hp 120 tanks that I use on weekend trips regularly and my buddy has two. While we will mos often be filling two tanks then done sometimes we will have six tanks to fill is this unit acceptable for that use? I will be running 220 single phase.
Hello, this compressor is only able to fill to 3000psi.
HAve been reading up on the Max35. what would you recommend as I dont think this one will work. I usually fill 10 tanks at the end of the day, 80, 100, and a few 120s. My other compressor I had it to shut down at 3400PSI. would like to put more than 3000PSI in them. I had a double hook up where I could fill two tanks at a time. I have a secondary lawerance factor filter system as well. Thoughts would be appreciated. thanks
The Max Air 35 is designed more for personal use. Typically 1 or 2 tanks at a time once or twice a day. The Max Air 55 will meet your needs, but that''s stretching it a bit. It really isn''t designed for daily use but is more intended for weekend use. If that is a daily number or cylinders being filled, you''d be best served by the Max Air 90.
