Rating: dive weights
Reviewer: Bill Michie, Friday, June 08, 2007 - View all my reviews
Excellent product. It served me well on my recent dive trip to Hoi An, Viet Nam. However, each airport, with the exception of the Danang International Airport near Hoi An, asked me to come back in a little room and supervise the security personnel searching my luggage and scuba equipment. Apparently, the concern was that the dive weights had the appearance of gun powder or the like as I was told. Other than the Danang International Airport where the guards were reading the newspaper and magazines and not viewing the luggage as it went through the x-ray machine, I was always asked to come and supervise a security search of my diving equipment! I had a great dive in Hoi An with Rainbow Divers. It was awesome.

Rating: XS Scuba 3lb weight

Being that I am a big (300+lbs) and that I dive in New England, it is critical I have enough weights to compensate my 7mm wet suit. These lead shot weight pouches, in all their various sizes really come in handy. I have several smaller weights integrated into the back of my QD Pro BC, as well as in the in weight pockets. Do to the soft pouch, I can fit them into just about any container. Definitely worth the purchase if you are one that uses soft weights and like the flexibility they provide.

Rating: Nice weights
Reviewer: James C., Monday, March 26, 2007 - View all my reviews
These weights are quite nice. Just about what one would expect for soft weights (which is the only way to go if you have the choice). The only reason they do not get 5 stars is that for 5 stars a product should be extraordinary, which is hard to do with weights.

Rating: Dont wait for the weight
Reviewer: Douglas Sourbeer, Wednesday, August 01, 2007
These shot weights work well because of their flexibility and the absence of hard corners which could wear into your BCD. A good product for BCD"S with integrated weight systems.

Weights are essential and when you do a lot of boat diving, having a weight that wont go through your deck is pretty important. These weights are great and comfortable.

Rating: Ideal for Tim Weight
Reviewer: Todd B., Sunday, May 11, 2008
This soft lead shot type is the perfect weight for trim weighting in the pockets in the back of your BC. Often hard to find one pounders in the dive shops.

I love dealing with Scuba.com Other than my local dive shop I will buy from no one else. I highly reccommend these shot weights over standard lead blocks.
